There has been a small tweak to the Beastly Kiosk’s still-new menu. While the Baked Lobster Macaroni and Cheese is still going strong, the Baked Pasta is now made with a Three-Cheese blend as opposed to its previous Mozzarella.

Allergy Kiosk

Remember how a whole buncha stuff switched around once Flame Tree Barbecue reopened after its refurbishment in July? Well, one of those spots was the Allergy-Friendly kiosk, which had moved from one side of Discovery Island to the other (now right across from Creature Comforts, the Animal Kingdom Starbucks location).

We were surprised to find it closed on our recent visit, but fret not — we were informed that it is just getting a little makeover and will be back up and running by mid-September.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park already made plenty of menu changes in the past few months, but it looks like even more changes are coming soon.
Indeed, earlier today, the park has announced that turkey legs will no longer be available at Disney's Animal Kingdom beginning from March 1, 2016. In addition to that, the menu of certain restaurants and kiosks located in Discovery Island and DinoLand U.S.A. will receive some new menu items for Guests to enjoy.

On March 1, 2016, the following dining locations will update their menus to reflect the following changes:

  • Flame Tree Barbecue: Turkey Legs will be discontinued at Flame Tree Barbecue, and will no longer be available in the park. However, Flame Tree Barbecue will be adding a Full Rack of St. Louis Ribs entree, Roasted Chicken Salad with Mixed Greens entree, and Ribs, Chicken and Pulled Pork Sampler Platter entree. Also joining the lineup is a new side item: French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese.
  • Pizzafari: Adding a Shrimp Flatbread pizza entree and a Hearts of Romaine entree salad topped with shrimp. Pizzafari is also introducing some lip-smacking side dishes and beverages. New to the menu are garlic butter knots, tomato soup, garlic dipping sauce, as well as Mandarin Orange Lemonade and Mandarin Orange Vodka Lemonade.
  • Restaurantosaurus: Adding a Roasted Chicken with Mixed Greens entree salad and a Chili-Cheese Hot Dog entree. Joining the menu are new side dishes New England Clam Chowder and Chili-Cheese Fries. New additions to the topping bar will put a gourmet twist on Restaurantosaurus classics with the addition of sauteed onions, guacamole, olive tapanade, and more.
  • Outdoor Vending (Ice Cream Carts): Added to the menus will be a Mango Fruit Bar and, for a limited time, Nestle Dibs Bite-sized snacks. The carts will continue to sell the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, Mickey's Ice Cream Sandwich, Frozen Chocolate-covered Banana, the Strawberry Fruit Bar and the Sugar-free Strawberry Fruit Bar.

I like dark meat but the turkey legs never look appetizing to me. Who has tried them?

The roasted chicken salad sound good I'm only a few days too soon for it.

We have had Turkey legs at epcot and MK and they were good but they are best with a beer.  1 beer 1 turkey leg about 20 bucks.
