cmsimonton 0
I have not been to Disney in over 20 years and have never stayed at the fort. My wife and I are coming in 2 weeks (July 22-29) with our 3 year old son. We have reserved a Premium campsite for the week and do not have any pets. We have a 25' Airstream, a large pickup truck, and will also have a golf cart (that I need to justify the rental price to my wife for). I wouldn't know one loop from the next. I can "check in" online tomorrow morning and would like to know what to ask for. HELP!!!!!!!!!!! Chris
MLM5.. aka Judy 97
Yea! I'm excited for you! Your son is going to love the Fort! Sorry I have no input on the loop question, I've only been to the Fort once (next trip in October) and we are tent campers, just wanted to say hi! :parrot:
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
WELCOME!!!If you enjoy the pool area, and campfire/movie, then I would request 900 or 1400. If you plan on going to Magic Kingdom a lot, and want to be near the marina, then request 400 or 500.Is being near the comfort station important?? If so, then try and avoid 600 and 700 loop as they don't have a comfort station.Enjoy your trip, and as always, payment for advice around here is joining in the conversation and posting pictures of your trip when you get back!!! That might be something your 3 year-old would enjoy. There is also a nice playground across from the 500 loop.TCD

Roller ... aka Ed 351
About the cost of a golf cart ... have you tried getting one from the other sources mentioned here? They are a LOT cheaper than the Disney rate ...
cmsimonton 0
I got my cart from Kenny at Tee Time...much cheaper than Disney.

OrangeBlossomMama 4
My kids (2yo, 4yo) love to ride their bikes/trikes at FW. They also like to fish. If you have one of the kiddie style fishing poles, it might make for a fun event. I believe you can rent poles, but we brought our own. I was super happy with our first visit/campsite to the fort with our 26 T/T about a month ago. We stayed in the 1700 Loop. I'll be requesting that one again.Have a great time!
