  1. EDIT, I added the pic of the monstrosity from The Contemporary to the last update. I missed it some how. Sorry. Cody
  2. Update time. We were on the MK boat from The Fort. Our plan was to land at the MK, board the monorail and head over to The Contemporary. We were to break into Bay Lake Tower, check it out then make the round back to MK. I’ve stayed at The Contemporary in another lifetime. On the 7th floor, with a park view. That WAS my favorite WDW resort, until I found out I could BYOHM to WDW. You know what that is? BYOHM? No? Bring Your Own Hotel Room Ha! I’m creative. You like that don’t you? Artistic and creative. Quite the addition to FF.net crew, if I do
  3. It was pretty cool to experience both. I'm going to have to come up with some way of displaying the spike. Puck was good, I really liked the pizza, good size for 2 people to split. Avoid the humus wrap though. That was a big thumbs down. It was really nice for a change. I construction SMB, but the crowds made up for it. You must go, whenever your boycott is over. I'm starting to think that this resort hoping is going to become a more permanent thing for us. It was nice to not focus on the parks. Everything you said there are my thoughts exactly. Thanks! We aren'
  4. This is my main complaint, I'm spending valuable time with them, and it seems as though the questions are built to only receive positive or neutral answers. Not even constructive criticism. When I get home, I think I get annoyed with the email surveys because I have a somewhat sour taste in my mouth about the park surveys. Like you said TCD, if there was some sort of incentive to do the surveys, I would be more prone to do them. Cody
  5. Got this email today about my Disney Store experience. And I'm getting constant reminders to fill out my resort survey for my most recent trip to The Fort. Seems to be a little much doesn't it? Cody
  6. Well, let me rephrase that. The next time I will be staying there with my camper is in January. I'm sure I will visit before then. Cody
  7. Alrighty Ladies and Gentlemen, time to press on with this TR We left off with us heading back to our truck from The Treehouse Villas. We were hungry and decided to swing by DTD and grab a bite to eat. What have we done up to this point? Looped The Fort - I like that. Tug went to the dog park - I like that. Tug went to day camp at Best Friends Pet Care - he liked that. It rained - I don’t like that. So now, as I stated above, we have left The Treehouse Villas, and SSR and are headed over to DTD. I’ve been avoiding DTD for some time now due to the construction mess that is going
  8. WOW! That is amazing. Pre water bridge, MK, monorail, everything basically. Really cool picture. And it sucks we missed each other on Sunday. I'll be back in January. Cody
  9. I'll get to it tonight or tomorrow Daniel. Have a wedding to attend today. Cory
  10. I'm going to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th the advice already given. Catch the boat for The Contemporary and walk over. It is a very pleasant and easy walk to MK Cody
  11. 1900 was locked down with a church group last weekend during the Night of Joy event. They had their bus parked in the roadway for 2 hours, we tried to loop through there twice and were turned around both times by a guy watching the entrance to the loop. Cody
  12. I agree with the previous posts. We put our Shepard/Husky mix there for two days of daycare. He loved it and we loved having him there. It was a little pricey, but they have webcams you can use to check up on your dog during play time and the facility is super clean. Doesn't have that dog small you would expect from a place like that. Cody
  13. So I really need to have some patience, I am getting really good at this double post BS. I would say 20 posts of mine are illegitimate. :banghead: Cody
  14. I had a feeling most of you guys would agree. SS is a nice place, but now that its scratched off the list, I won't have to go back. They charge different rates depending on the size and type of pen you want, (VIP, 4x8, indoor, indoor/outdoor, etc) and they will charge you a rate for 6 hours or less, and a different rate for over 6 hours. Both days he went, he spent 10+ hours there and was completely wore out both nights when we picked him up. You can add on packages, like 4 hours of outside play time with other dogs, feeding, etc. They will nickel and dime you, but for us, it was worth it to
  15. Update time...... We left off at the end of day 1 for us. Small recap, we checked in, The Fort was empty, it was raining, Tug now owns the corner fence post at Waggin Trails dog park, we looped the first night. Now on to day 2. We are fortunate enough to be annual pass holders, and live only an hour away from WDW, so we tend to visit the parks often. You know what we don’t do? Check out other resorts. I mean, think about it, we’ve been AP holders since 2007, and I didn’t discover The Fort until 2013. I knew it was there, but never paid much attention to it. Same goes for other
  16. He is too, kept going to check it every time we went to the park. He will be coming on future trips to The Fort with us. I think he had more fun than we did. He did get to go looping with us. Now every time I let him out of the camper he hopped up onto to golf cart. He LOVES looping. Especially in the morning when everyone is out walking their dogs. Thanks for joining! The name Tug came from us trying to come up with a nautical name that most people don't use. (Tug Boat) However, he is pretty good a tug-o-war, so the name fits. I've been the person to drive by and not notice the
  17. That is my favorite scene, since I do work on an oil rig, I enjoy the 7 seconds we're in there. However, you're thoughts are spot on. Awesome. Cody
  18. My thoughts exactly Guy around the corner from me has a lifted chevy 2500 HD with the 3 rows of seats, claims it was over $100K to have built
  19. I agree with this. I'd rather see the ride stay untouched, but if they have to do it, they should leave the intro untouched.
  20. Welcome to the board.....this is a great group of people. I've been lucky enough to meet Lou, he's the only one I met so far, and despite his reputation on here, he is a very pleasant man.
  21. Okay folks, marching right along now. I cut you guys off pretty abruptly last update, and for that I’m sorry. But I’m new. Less than 200 posts. Only 2 trip reports. I can still get away with TR shenanigans like that. But I will work on it, I promise. This should also be a good time to mention the camera situation for this TR. Last TR, which you would know if you have read it, you will remember that I was very sporadic with my picture taking. And I took most of them with a phone. And I didn’t decide to take a lot until 11pm at MK, in the rain. And I promised to do be
