  1. Agreed with everyone else, have seen rigs like this at the Fort in the past, shouldn't be an issue
  2. When I called, the nice lady I spoke to said that they usually don't offer Florida resident discounts for campsites, and she was pretty adamant that I was confusing Fort Wilderness with the Lodge. She was really surprised when she saw that, said she's never seen it before.
  3. This is why I love FF.net! Thanks Derek! We had a preferred site booked for the 5th-8th and I just called and got the discount appled to our balance. Saved us $55, thanks again! Cody
  4. Good reporting TCD. The overlays were great, but this really paints a good picture in my head of the plans. I agree with WBI, wonder how that became public?
  5. Not sure of the slide, or the thing the jester is stepping on, but it looks to me that the food court with the heads is representing a Mardi Gras float storage warehouse. They have a couple of these warehouses in NOLA that you can tour. Like this one: Mardi Gras World, www.mardigrasworld.com I have been to Mardi Gras World before, and I'd say Disney pulled off the creepiness just right in their food court. Cody
  6. I get it, I'm slowly getting all the acronyms down. Peggy - well when I first joined back in June, I had a pic of my camper in my avatar, but this weekend I did my fantasy football draft and I saw that my avatar on that online profile was Peggy, so I just made it the avatar on this one as well. Riveting, I know. Cody
  7. I'm in on the TexMex ones, will have to try in September and post it in my TR Cody
  8. Fort Wilderness Ranger, are these the people that lead the golf cart parade? Cody
  9. Forgive me for not researching this further, but would a walk in be doable here for lunch? Or are they generally too busy? We always walk right by this place without stopping, want to try it sometime. Cody
  10. Awesome sign! Thinking about ordering one for myself. Cody
  11. Definitely fun to speculate about all of this, as a good portion does "make sense". We shall see....
  12. I haven't fished The Fort yet, but I would agree with everyone else. Use a No. 2 or 4 or 6 J hook, take a pair of pliers and pinch down the barb as The Fort is strictly catch and release, and this will assist in the removal of the hook. You can find these hooks at any Wal-Mart that has a sporting goods section. They will generally be the size of the last digit of your thumb or smaller. Cody
  13. I'm going with effect. Happens to me more often than not when I'm in the area. At that point, might as well pull up a seat and :wine: Cody
