  1. Nathen caught this one behind the 600 loop in January!
  2. Thanks everyone! The pole actually stops at the top of the jug, we bolted a pvc end cap to the lid which the lamp post sits in. This way when traveling, we take the whole lid, post & globes off, leaving just the milk can, so it's two separate pieces and I can protect my globes The can weighs about 10 pounds so it's heavy enough to stand on it's own. The cord comes out of the pvc pipe and drapes down the back as we didn't want to cut any holes in the jug. But hubby found a black and red 50 foot cord, so it matches good and can sit anywhere we want.
  3. Hey, you're right!! They could at least give a nice fort discount to keep the fiends alive, it's like shelter and food, WE NEED IT TO SURVIVE
  4. Mason loves to swim...unfortunately we have an above ground pool. So we had to build him a "dock" so he swims laps, then goes right back and sits on his dock waiting for the next tennis ball to be thrown
  5. Started out with ugly old brown milk jug: Painted the top black, bottom red: Once that dried, taped off then painted the yellow band: Cut the plastic globes, glued & taped til dry: Cut a pattern out of heavy paper, to paint "buttons" Put it all together and voila!
  6. Here are some Fort pics from 2006. We still had our pop up. This was in the 2000 loop: At the beach: Look...MUSKET MICKEY!!! :soapbox: Chip & Dale :rofl2:
  7. I agree with Ellen ride too. I enjoyed it the first time, but it needs an update, BAD!
  8. Well, it's a mystery to me! I looked up Circus world, but it didn't show any pictures like that building. Hoping Mom remembers! I was only 2, so I don't remember much. :D
  9. Wow, that could be Circus World. I'll have to ask mom.
  10. Check this out, 50 CENTS to park!! An everyone has to remember the tickets! And from a random booklet on resorts: THE FORT! :rofl2:
  11. I went and dug out an old photo album that I knew had some WDW pictures. I figured you guys would enjoy. They are dated 1972. My mom even saved a few other things that I scanned to help explain the pictures, and just for nostalgia. Sorry the quality isn't great, but it was almost 40 years ago! I lived in NY until 1983 so we traveled once a year for a month to Florida. Disney, Daytona Beach, Cypress gardens (which I also found pics of ) Dad, Mom, and I drove down and always stopped at South of The Border. I believe this first one is there? Maybe someone can help me on that. REME
  12. May I please give him the one finger salute first? Please?:popo:
  13. I never thought about paying bills with the card, I just didn't think I would spend enough to make it worth it. Might have to reconsider! :rofl2: I could see myself getting into a heap load of trouble this way - I do best on a cash system - know thyself. I also pay a lot of monthly bills with my dis visa, but I subtract it right out of my checkbook and "highlighter" it, so when the visa bill comes the money is there to pay it.
  14. I thought the same thing, and looking back she is using a point & shoot! I had looked at that camera as a small one to carry and the only complaints I read are (BBB, please share your opinion) 1. flash placement is awkward, where you normally hold to shoot 2. camera has to be plugged in to charge battery It takes nice pictures and price is good, probably be a gift for myself
  15. Have you come up with a way to put it back on smarty? To get it back on, you need a bunch of guys who are built like this: to put the jeep back on its wheels and to put the boat on top. You also need one who looks like this: to put you back together... Yeah I could definately get it on with that first guy!! THE BOAT ON THE JEEP, DIRTY BIRDIES!!!
  16. Thanks Avatab! MB, how could you doubt ME?? :) The boys spent all weekend trying to figure out how it goes on and off?! There is some kind of a pully system on the front and back of boat, and a winch on the front of the jeep, but don' t know exactly how it works. We thought it was cool because that little boat had a 60hp motor on it!!
