  1. If in doubt, follow the transport trucks. Slow down when they slow down and let them set the pace. If you're gaining speed down hill you're in to high a gear. If you're slowing down going uphill it's time to shift. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Incorrect, Find a shop that knows what they're talking about. Trailers can be and need to be aligned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. That's an alignment issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. I'm no help since our first trip to the fort is next month, but I can say it's great to have another vintage trailer owner around! We have an airstream safari, My wife says the nicest people in the trailer park are the ones in a vintage camper Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. My parents own a home (prefab) in Winter Haven and they received a notification from the park recommending they evacuate today. Luckily my parents are still safe in Canada and we're not planning to head south for the winter for two more weeks. Winter Haven is along way from the coast, it must be bad if they're recommending evacuation that far inland. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Good luck to everyone that has been and will be affected by the storm. If you're travelling, carry all the water and fuel you can. We had considered going this week as Monday is a Canadian holiday but decided to wait to see Christmas lights. Hope everyone finds a safe place to stay before the storm hits. 9. Nice trillium! We had a '77 13' before we got our airstream, they are great trailers! We've stayed at lots of koa's and they e all been safe, clean and friendly. some are far from the highway, some right next to it. Ive stayed at state parks in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Virginia, there's a significant variation in the condition of state parks and levels of service, checkout the park before you commit. Good luck and safe travels.
  10. Hollywood and vine sounds like a win for us, how much travel time should we expect from our campsite to the restaurant if we plan to do breakfast?

  12. Thanks! our daughter Pearl will be 3 and loves anything on Disney jr.
  13. We're planning our first Disney trip for December, staying at the Fort. Our kids will be 1 and 3 Any don't miss dining recommendations that are super little kid friendly?
  14. South of the border! We've stayed in the campground. Nothing fancy but the sites are big and it felt very secure and safe. And you can get all the shot glasses and tacky t shirts you want!
  15. Good to hear. We're thinking of stopping there on our way to the fort this fall. Do they have an Spot to wash your RV? We'll be driving through the salt and a wash at a campground would be really convenient
  16. +1 on south of the border! We stayed in the campground last year, nothing fancy but it was clean and had lots of security patrols. We'll be traveling to the fort in the fall, our kids will be one and three. Rest areas are great places to let the kids run around and get tired out, and it's better to have a nice lunch prepared in our trailer than to eat restaurant food the whole time. All the rest areas we've stopped at have been clean and well maintained. We spent about an hour last spring in a truck stop letting our two year old run around on a rainy day. It was funny seeing some of the
  17. Great report so far and lucky about the tire. We're planning our first trip for this fall!
