  1. We have looked at some and liked them. We have a small teardrop with a side tent for out daughter so it works for us. We moved from a tent and i am happy for a comfortable bed, a/c (the south is hot and humid), and a tv is I really want to watch it. Actually the only place we have ever had any interest of using the tv was the Fort. Other than that we have used a couple of times during rain to watch a movie. My only concern with the a-frames was when i was researching them a couple of years ago. I kept seeing water issues where the hinge meets the main trailer body at each end. It's proba
  2. We have DVC and using the points for any normal hotel rooms, campsites, or the cruise line is not worth it. The point cost is far more than it costs to use the points at a DVC resort. We bought in because we are related to a cast member and got an amazing deal about 5 years ago (think original point costs from 25 years ago). We didn't buy too much. Anyway, what we have found is we don't use our points for one year and then use the extra points every other year to book a much nicer room. Oh, when I say the cruise line isn' worth it, yeah don't do that. If it tell you anything even the mem
  3. Problem is the legislature in the is state will give them what they want. I live here in wake county myself.
  4. Believe it or not Wilderness Lodge has some of the worst occupancy ratings on property. Rumored to be in the 40 to 60% range. One of the biggest reason more of the resort is being converted to DVC. I like it there but I have been curious and been able to find bookings for Christmas, New Years, Spring Break, etc. the week before quite a few times. Never would stay there. The room s are some the smallest for a deluxe resort on property. Probably part of the reason of the difficult bookings.
  5. 20 years ago my wife and I were there tent camping for 5 days. We decided to stay another 4 days as we were having a great time. Anyway when we went to the desk, the lady in front of us was paying for another 4 months, no kidding. My wife and I were floored, that is until the cast member was going over the existing reservation and check in at the beginning of january. This was the end of May. I don't know what the limit is, but 9 months? We still joke about that overtime we pull into the entrance to check in.
  6. Hello, new here but wanted to answer the question. I have purchased through the phone number that is on the Disney Receipt and never had an issue. They actually will hunt the item down for you, if it exists, and is still sold.
