  1. Just joined this TR..what a fun time, kids so pretty and kind to each other (ok i know they aren't ALWAYS that way ;) ) Yep Rover cough up the $$$, auto train is worth it (did you know the metalic numbers won't 'stick' to Saturns? The driver had to hold it out the window :rofl2:

  2. "Poor Walt is tumbling in his grave, like he's in a clothes dryer."

That line jumped out at me too. So many things at WDW would make Walt spin :(

:rofl3: :rofl2: Your Snarkiness is wonderful, laughed all the way through the little green leaves ( would have been in a :panic: if they had been on me) so disgusting but your telling so :rofl2: :rofl2:

Made DH listen to me read your discription of the Yeti ride, of course he did want to know what i was snickering about over here in the corner.

    more :rofl2: :rofl3: :rofl2:

Did you go backward? I'll have to ride it again, see if I get same reaction as Mrs. T. Liked the random pics...cool!

  3. Finally caught up...ha! that crook is in trouble now...stealing from the mouse...what was he thinking?

When I'm walking around any camp ground I'm amazed that so much stuff is left out for the picking up by thieves.

But thought, same as you, campers don't do that to each other.

Well, hope this non-camper spends time with the state.

    Lots of time!!

  4. Gretchen -

I asked for advise on the budget board "over there" on how to earn some extra cash, since we were going to be on a tight budget. Some people gave good advice, like get a paper route. Others berated me for being such a bad mom, taking the kids to WDW and only taking them to one park, not letting them buy all the souveniers they want, and making them stay in a tent instead of a nice hotel. As you can see, my kids had a great time inspite of all the "hardships" they had to endure.

Well they are nuts! So glad I found you guys after the flush...fiends rule!

  5. :rofl2: but saying that, I like AK especially on a very cold (yes we do get them once in a while) wet day...then I go watch the tigers up and about.

Hot weather they are cats, they sleep!

Will have to try the yeti ride in the dark, good idea. Wait a minute, doesn't AK close at dusk?

  6. Lil Lou is not a baby anymore...he's even past toddlerhood.

What a beautiful guy he is.

Wondering when he is grown if he will be your largest cat? Those red/orange cats can get BIG.

His eyes look like they are turning a nice shade of gold.

You who are allergic to cats might try washing them on a regular basis if you really want to have cats. It's not as scary as it sounds ;)

It's the dried saliva on the cat's fur that we humans are supposedly alergic to. I am not allergic to the cats living with me but if I get scratched or bitten by another cat, the spot better be washed very well and soon or it will swell up and itch like crazy.

And to those of you who "don't like cats" you just haven't met the right cat YET! Same goes for dog dislikers too.

Lou, momma cat is a blue/cream calico and yes, she is beautiful! No wonder her kittens are so pretty.

  7. Oh boy I know what I'd be doing. Huskey Homestead tour is a must, it's Jeff King's home place. Jeff won the Iditarod 4 times 1993,1996,1998 and 2006.

Then up near Fairbanks there are more kennels, among them is Lance Mackey's, he won the Yukon Quest and the Iditarod in 2007 and 2008. They are both 1000 mile races, only a few weeks apart. Then he also won the Iditarod again in 2009 and 2010! Yep 4 times in 4 years :) And in Fairbanks check out the Yukon Quest headquarters, American side. That race goes between Fairbanks, AK USA and Whitehorse, YT, Canada. Think it ends in FB this coming year, the cities take turns.

    Oops is this a hi-jack?
