Heck, I like the sounds of a Gattlinburg GG next year. it is only a 10.5 hour drive right down 81 for us! With a little planning and with the right timing, it just might be doable. Oh and Dave any diet that does not include beer, is just torture plan and simple!! Fort or no Fort, I dont know if I could do it.

Depending on what we ate and drank we move air wtihout the fan and we call it something other than "white" noise

Take a bus to the kingdom or on of the other parks and take the boat or another bus to the Fort. Walk or fake the internal bus to the meadows/ campfire area and enjoy the movie.

We have the same allergy concerns with our DD. She has allergies to Dairy, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts. We booked a short cruise so if there was a problem it would not mean us scrounging food for her for a prolonged period. Her allergies is one of the main reasons we go to Disney. Their chefs are excellent with her allergies.

I think that Ford is just trying to play catch up here. They are losing in leaps and bounds to the Dodge/Mercedes Sprinters in the utility van market. While the Sprinters are ugly, thhey very versatile in how they can be modified and still get an average of 20 mph in their deisel chasis.

I am sure it is beautiful but we did it at 4am in the rain, well it was raining when we started the climb but stopped and became very foggy 3/4 of the way up!

We took that route down last time, wasn't a bad ve, nice and quite at night. Only thing I absolutely hated was the climb to the heavens when you get off 81 onto 77, I thought oxygen masks were going to drop out of the overhead consoles if we went much higher!
