I have started making a series of videos to try and answer the questions I see all the time. In my first one I started with How do I get to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue when arriving by boat. It also covers, Trail's End, the location for the carriage rides. 
 
 

FYI, They didn't have the "mugs" when we went February 9th. We asked and they were "lost" on the river... HaHaHA

I've only been to Dollywood once, and we did it very wrong... didn't get there till 11, large group, and pretty much just wandered. Only got in a few attractions, but we enjoyed our day with Fiends :)
 
When we were there, we stayed in Townsend at the KOA.
 
We also spent part of a day in Gatlinburg visiting the brewery's.
 
Another highlight of our trip was Cades Cove.

This is the report that doesn't end...... it goes on and on my friends...... we started reading it not knowing what it was, and just remembered reading it, because......

There is a little story to tell here....
 
I had been talking to Julia on and off about them being able to make it down to The Fort for Halloween. When it came to the point they were able to come, the accommodations were a little lacking and availability was slim to none. They said it would be fine to throw a tent up with someone, I was thinking... could you imagine a infant in a tent with bad weather for a weekend!? So I got to digging and found a cabin (with my discount) for a great price. Great price, but out of my budget. So knowing how much the fiends wanted to see our littlest Fiend, I got busy with the texting! And I am very happy to say that with the Fiends helping Fiends and some generous donations from the few Private Individual Fiends i contacted, We made the goal for the desired amount!!!
 
So, J&J+C Adventuring will be my guest in a Cabin for the Weekend!!!!  :jumpforjoy

Did I mention... I WILL be attending the Friday the 13th festivities with my sweetie!!!!!!

I have checked with all my personalities and they all say no.

That's awesome, however, this will be the first time the group tries Memorial Day up in TN, in 3 years past we've gathered at Stone Mountain in GA, and then decided we want to try something else, so hopefully we'll keep it in the TN hills area for a few years, then move somewhere else, however the Defeated Creek in September is probably something that is gonna stay.
 
There is also usually a gathering in Easter somewhere near Gettysburg.
 
In other words, if you go camping somewhere, let the Fiends know, somebody will book and join you. That's how most of the "local" gatherings get started.
 
Of course, the high holy Fiend holiday is Halloween at Fort Wilderness!!!

And sadly for the rest of us, theyare nailed to their FF.net seats, kinda like these guys..

When we got on the bus to go back to the front, there were 2 other families with TE pizza box's. They looked quite jealous! The lady working at the junk booth made some kind of comment and I said TE now has papa j pizza. She replied "yea, right... if they did it would be a lot busier around here...lol
