  1. Thanks! I can't wait to bring Josie up there. And if I see that lady again...I'll exact my revenge!!! Amen! There's still a bit left to the TR. Two more excursions. Plus a bonus round of "going home" photos! Thanks! That is a cool shot. Actually that whole morning run was memorable. I think the chocolate milk on the beach is a great start and should be a staple of the schedule for us moving forward. Oh, ye of little faith. Wait until you see the next BTS! Shhh...it's a secret. Thanks, I was especially please with the pics on this trip. Especially the varying degrees of quality and absurdit
  2. Day Four: Music: Beachfront Serenade and Poolside Jam Drink: Fruity Tourist Drinks and barrel scrapings Smell: Chlorine and Band-Aids And it goes a little something like this… Last full day of the trip, but we had tons of stuff to do. We were all up early. While the crew scattered and stumbled about, I hopped on Ben’s cart with him to go get the day started the right way. Pffsstt! Diet Dr. Pepper… I was ready. Who needs coffee? Ben does, and MetalWife does. So off to the little Inn on the Lake. Via the super secret spot… I realized I have never just taken pictures of stuff around the Settleme
  3. Holding a DJ like a baby. If that catches on here in the states it could make my job interesting and/or dangerous.
  4. Nice. I like it. I see a USF Bulls t-shirt in there. Gold star for the DD!
  5. I still like it. Most times things change, and usually for the better. But if it weren't for nostalgia, the Fort wouldn't be dressed in pioneer garb, and we wouldn't talk about camping trips of the past. That's why popular threads on this here site have pictures of the 70s and 80s, the FWRR, and River Country. I love a good 8-track. Sometimes it's cool to be obsolete, in some people's eyes, that means classic! Like you Lou! Times change...you don't meet many little kids named Lou! . But we're not discontinuing you... You're a classic!
  6. Thanks. It was funny, when I met all of you guys, I mentioned that ben was fishing and Bob said "Tell him don't bother!" The Terrapin line is available at Total Wine, not sure if they have one by you, there's one in stumbling distance from here! My wife has a saying in spanish that loosely translates into "The devil's good luck" Another full day and a half, and saturday was killer! I love it! I went to a bluegrass festival locally not long ago. Have you checked out the new Punch Brothers record yet? Thanks. That sounds about like us. The flip flop shot was an accident taken at high speed
  7. How cool Stef! You're exactly the type of person that makes this site so awesome! God bless you and your family, blood or otherwise!
  8. Day Three continued: Music: Electric Water Pageant Drink: More Stout Smell: Burgers and Brats Last we heard it was Day Three, which would make it Friday. We were headed back to the Fort by bus. One more shot before we hit the bus stop! The kids were beat. Gracie lends John a shoulder to relax on. Then he’s out! I noticed that on occasion, my camera/phone reacts to AC and gets fogged up. Back to the cart and to the site. We love that little trip to DTD , and make it on each visit. One of the few times we leave the Fort at all! Back at the site, we stumble upon Ben and Wiliam. He’s camped ou
  9. I love those prints of the FWRR in the cabins. I had that as my desktop for like 6 months. Cool TR, so wish I wasn't zonked out when you came by! We'll meet again... well, for the first time anyway!
  10. I agree, good call on the Nassau bit. We were there some years ago on the RCCL Sovereign of the Seas, looks a lot like the one in your photo. We got to the open air market, and it was so packed, we turned around to head back to the ship. We were stopped by all manner of panhandlers, telling my wife "braid your hair pretty lady?", one kid said he'd sing a song for a dollar, we got a half a verse of Happy Birthday To You! We headed to the pool where they had a live reggae band and no people. Now I know for next time!
  11. Would that make you an irregular guest? You kids stay away for my porthole!
  12. Biking out of bounds... Scolded by CM.... Smuggled booze... Classic Old School-styled Schwinn... Golf cart search party... That's ma'boy!
  13. We always seem to get those same seats because their always either out in the sun or rain. Tough to get a spot for 5 there! I'm counting on it! He's gonna get me some more to give out with this purpose! You're exploits show up in the next update. Based on the time stamp, your pics match up with our DTD trip. So, we'll get to see how you got your FF name! Stef, next time you're down this way, let me know, we'll take you over there. My next show there is going to be all Motown! My daughter sent Flat Stanley to Puerto Rico, and all of my wife's relatives took him all over the island, plus one
  14. Day Three continued: Music: Electric Water Pageant Drink: More Stout Smell: Curry & Chocolate continued I told you I’d be waiting at the door. With all of the other husbands. I noticed in every store, I hung out by the door. And there was always four or five other dudes, waiting for the wives, just like me. I think it’s two-fold. First, you’re easy to find, in a central location that keeps you from having to sniff hand cream samples. And two, you sort of play goalie, in the event one of the kids heads out of the shop without Mom! After we got home I noticed the same phenomenon at the mal
  15. Those are great Dave. How big is that RV d'ya suppose? Mine wouldn't fit that many...
  16. Nice. I like it! Glad you're still along for the ride. We still have 4 or 5 updates! Gracias. It's amazing how many details you recall as you got through the photos. It's easier this time because we have 249 photos, vs. 90 from last time. Cool. Thanks. I was hoping someone would pick up on my attempt at humor! While I do skate and play hockey, My version of DISNEY ON ICE is much different. I know a lot of booze seems to show up in my TR, I think it's more that we plan for it, and the tasting sessions are part of the experience. I work hard and I play hard! Thanks Lou! It's nice to have yo
  17. Don't forget... You got to work on your virtual loop project!
  18. You as well! Looking forward to checking out the vids! Eveyday. He had a conversation in his underwear, my wife's trying to look elsewhere. Dude, put some pants on. The rudeness bothered me, but it seems to be cultural with that particular ethnic group. Funny that they're at Disney, it's such an icon of American excess! Thanks. I'll tell her! Ya like that? I cut it! It'll be gone by school. He loves it. My mom hates it. It's hair. It grows back...when you're 8! Yes. Oddly, they made it with white wine, with is fine, but a red would have carried the fruit better. Just my opinion. Most peopl
  19. I forgot about that. The reason we took that photo was because the egg dropped a double yolk! Also, there was a problem with the Comfort Station, something about the water heater. It reeked of propane and they had technicians banging on something out back for two days straight. That would be awesome. I'd have no fear to drive a cart anywhere, and could really muster up some trouble. We just have to synch-up the calandars! Ya see, smell is a strong sense.. it's like being there in person! Thanks. That's really the only trouble I stir up is going off piste in the cart. Dave, I told the Mrs. t
  20. Day Three: Music: Disney Ambient Music Drink: Stout Smell: Curry & Chocolate Up and at’em early once again! Sort of… I figure I slept about 12 hours! I even took a shower before everyone was up. It was breakfast time again, and today….it was BenskiMuffins again…go with a good thing. One small problem… The eggs were frozen… But a little love, patience, and hot sauce always pays off… I still can’t stop looking at that contraption next door. I guess it’s better than the guy on the other side that insisted in walking around his site in his underwear, sort of a camping etiquette no-no as f
  21. Morgan and Pepper is my summer after work cocktail! Fortunately, it's summer 11 months in a row here in Florida! Yes, GC speed is the only breeze to be found. I have to get more of those flamingos, Annie gave them all out in one sitting! Thanks! Glad you're still along! It was a special occasion! That's how I splained it to the Mrs! Thanks! Careful with that popcorn, we had a lot of squirrels active on the loop! Indeed, group photo coming up soon! Funny, it's usually the Crown that curls my hair! The Slyce photos will be along too! On with the sillyness! Stay tuned! Just noticed the bot
  22. Day Two: Music: Punch Brothers Drink: Captain Morgan and Diet Dr. Pepper, together Smell: Mud and Hot Sauce Apparently, we forgot another big thing we had planned on…the big fiend potluck party! We heard it was a great time… a love it or hate it affair, where the neighbors hated it and the loopers that happened by wished they were part of it! But it was July 5, the day after the big patriotic birthday party… Do you feel older America? Everyone always asks that question on your birthday. Weird hair growth patterns and medical issues generally demarcate my feeling of being “older”. So, what seem
  23. Nice, Page one! NOT! But I am in. Looking forward to hearing about TCD wrestling a shark and zipping through the Bermuda triangle on a Jet Ski with one hand on the wheel!
