Hang on!! I know I pop in and out with a quickness but how did I miss this one??!!  I'm all about a mini WWW, but might recommend dollywood, they have barrells :)

Trolleys are easy to use and cheap. You can use them to go all over pigeon forge and gatlinburg. Only difference between them and Disney really is you have to pay. My wife was so used to Disney she would just get on the trolley and take a seat. Good thing I had her back.

I remember correctly, the trolley's are going to be free this summer starting the 16th of June :)

I'm thinking of bringing my camper down as well, it will sleep 4 if we cuddle (the dinette is kid size so unless ya'll short ones wanna sleep there..)  2 with lots of room.. I will make this determination shortly!!

I do owe a trip report don't I.. I have been a bad fiend and not done one since Halloween 2011.. lol

I personally just got back yesterday and we loved it! 

We are booked on site 67. Thursday September 12-Sunday September 15.

 

Now to try out some more of these dessert recipes Jen keeps sharing so, I know which ones to bring.  

I've got to dig out that Jalepeno dip one.. I dream of that on a regular basis..

I'm super excited that Izzy will be 3 this trip and we can do it, she is OBESSESSED with getting her hair and nails done and she is totally convinced she is a princess so this will more than likely be the highlight of my trip :heart:

I'm in a pickle here, I just realized my Oma will graduate on that Friday.. so that means either my weekend is going to be short, or I need to plan that as one of my vacation weeks to make the trip worth my time.. POO

I usually take my week off in the fall.. not sure I want to use my time in the summer.. oh what to do what to do.. I've been with ya'll for the past two years.. the thought of memorial day without fiends makes me wanna :blowup:

In true Judy fashion we left without shopping so we are stopping on the way in, if y'all need something call me!! We are sitting in traffic just outside of ATL. I drove up until a few minutes ago, no issues with me pulling the camper but these darn people are gonna make me rage.. So I'm relaxing now and Dave is driving :)

When I tried to talk to dh this evening about next weekdn, he commented that he would see how much work he got done the beginning part of this week. Um... I hope we will still be there on Friday! If I leave him behind, I may need help with the tent set-up.

Oklahoma just passed the open carry law. Since I already have my concealed I can actually carry my weapon in the open. It still surprises me to see someone openly carrying.

You wouldn't like South America.. That was the only place I got nervous, they take "open arms" to a whole different level. No one flinches at the sound of gun fire in Bogota.

Since Dave and INC bailed, I guess I will bring Kraut & Sausage to the potluck, and the kiddos want Oero Truffles, I'm getting excited, are we there yet??

I haven't done it yet myself but it's on my todo list, there are alot of tutuorials out there :)

when you do get around to buying, we are a family of 7 and have a coleman 19x12 cabin tent, i'm thinking it's a grand canyon or something of that nature, we all fit comfortably but two of my girls sleep on a "double bunk cot" google that it's like bunkbeds while camping, I'm suprised that your older kids want to be in the same tent, we actually ended up going with two 14 x10 instant tents as my older kids liked having their own :) At first I was worried because I couldnt "see them" but I quickly got over that..lol
