  1. Nice screen cap that shows it really well. Those are the only two I know of, but there may be others behind the scenes somewhere. Hey MagicBus do you know of any other aqua bridges?
  2. Here you go. You can see this aqua bridge connects the Epcot Resorts to Epcot by the Epcot rear entrance. It goes over Epcot Resorts Blvd.
  3. TCD I think those water bridges are really neat, I always point them out to people. I know where you can find another one on Disney property too. Have you ever driven the Epcot resort loop? Its the road that you can drive in front of the Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach Clubs, and the Swan & Dophin resorts. It's not as easy to see as the Bay Lake one but still cool. I'll dig up a picture for you. WBI
  4. Great trip report again! I like the quick trips ya'll are going. I think those are the only type we're going to be able to do for awhile. I do have a question though. How were you able to try the dining plan if you already have tickets? I thought you could only get it with a full package? Nick
  5. Great report as always TCD! When can we expect the next one? You said you have a few more reports to come right? Oh and if you happen to have an extra rusty nail laying around, I know a wanna be imagineer that would sure like one!
  6. I agree guys, I think that's what they are going for, a nice shaded waiting area. Even if they don't put in a bar or drink cart, you won't be far from the Trading Post or Crocketts, they'll get you to buy something one way or another. Great to see this post is still alive and great job on the overlay Baylakecampers. I haven't found any new information lately but I'll keep an eye out. WBI
  7. Great job with the overlay BayLake! Maybe that will be one of those traffic circles where the median isn't raised just brick pavers so you can run over it all you want!
  8. Thanks for the congrats everybody! I checked today and nothing new has been posted for this project, but I did see that the TCD Stables project got it's permit. It was issued on April 22, 2011. If you remember it only had a few design comments to address back in October, well I guess in March they started back to work on it and now its approved. They still have to get a construction permit but that shouldn't take long in Reedy Creek. Here's the plan for anyone that hasn't seen it: There wasn't any interesting changes to the TCD plans but I did see this: Its the waste managment plan fo
  9. Hey TCD, after reading this post I realized it had been awhile since I checked on this project, so I did a little digging. It looks like they fired it back up, they resubitted in March and the ERP permit was issued on April 22, 2011. That means they are clear to get a construction permit, so everyone keep an eye out for it. I'm guessing all this permitting activity might mean things are going to start moving. WBI
  10. Hey TCD great report! I just wanted to add that I read somewhere that the tarps/walls around the back of Cinderella's Castle are to block the view of the fantasy land construction from people eating at Cinderella's Royal Table. And when you call to make a reservation there they tell you that you're view will be blocked, so I guess that makes sense. They're using the tarps to prevent people from looking out instead of in. Looking forward to the next installment. WBI
  11. Hopefully ya'll can zoom in and read this: Sorry for the image but I guess I can't upload large pdfs so this as good as I can get. If anyone knows a better way just let me know. WBI
  12. Thanks everybody! Here's some more construction stuff for you. Its the project boundary shown on an aerial. I'm going to upload another print shortly and point out some interesting stuff. But just to get you going here's a couple: 1. I'm pretty sure the lawnmower stump will be history with this project. They are putting in a golf cart parking lot in that area with pervious pavement type bricks. 2. Notice the area all the way to the right by itself, thats where they have to scrape out the canal to add compensating flood plain since they are filling some low places for construction. It will
  13. hahah :rofl2: By the way we thought about having it at Disney but its a little to expensive for us, unless we win the Happily Ever After contest that Disney is having!
  14. Thanks ya'll I'll try to be on here more often, lately I only pop on here when I find some good info to share. I do have a good excuse though for not being a regular, I got engaged! Yes the Camping Princess and I got engaged so I've been busy working on wedding plans. Speaking of that do you remember the trip report on Seaside, FL that TCD did last spring? Well because of that report, we went there on New Year’s Eve, and we liked it so much we decided that’s where we want to get married. We went up there over Easter and checked it out again and sure enough that's where it’s going to be.
  15. Sorry guys, I missed this thread, I haven't been online much lately, but I just posted a new topic with a plan showing the relocated Backyard BBQ pavilion. WBI
  16. Here's the drainage plan. It looks like this is going to be the relocated Backyard BBQ Pavilion. It's right where it was rumored to be, behind the Trading Post, just off Bay Lake. Sorry its only on 11x17, I had a heck of a time reducing it to less than 500k. This post has been promoted to an article aDrainagePlan11X17.pdf
  17. Breaking News!!! I came across an application this morning, its only for the ERP permit so construction will probably won’t happen for a little while but here’s the description form the application: Project improvements generally consist of 3.65 acres of infrastructure to serve a new dining pavilion building and associated pargo (golf cart) parking at Fort Wilderness. The proposed improvements will drain to a proposed equalized dry detention pond system. I’ll get a copy of the plan posted in a few.
  18. You heard it here first, I'm guessing, haha. I saw today that the Grand Floridian applied for an ERP permit to modify their site and add a building along the Seven Seas Lagoon. They are going to demo the tennis courts, add a new building with its own drive up access, a new parking lot, modify the lake bank, and modify the walkway from the Poly. It looked like a big project I think around 15 acres. The plans are online but good ole Disney used a code name again. What do you think it will be? I'm guessing a DVC bulding with villas. I?ve never stayed at the GF, and I know this isn?t Fort news
