  1. Haha, I actually felt like a stalker at first, but then I figured hey I'm just a guy walking by, no big deal. lol That's a pretty cool Tree Hugger, I could see that coming in handy for hunting or back country camping. WBI
  2. Man I'm slacking but I'm going to try and wrap up this report today. When I left off I was walking towards the 1500 loop when I saw this: That looks familiar doesn't it. That's TCD's site! We've now seen lots of pictures of his site in his report but this was before I met him and before i knew he was in 1501. Which brings me to a question. TCD, what is that? It looks like some fancy tree fanny pack? I couldn't tell? Anyway we walked around the 1500 loop. I like the Seaside license plate TCD: After the 1500 we walked back by the pool, where saw the people still in the pavilion. I sna
  3. I agree it wouldn't be that hard to stop this, if they tried a little harder. That's true its good they are starting to do something, hopefully they keep it up. That would have been pretty funny! lol Thanks! We travel a lot, probably more than we should be money wise but we figure we should while we can. I guess it is possible those were campers from somewhere else but I don't think so. Very good point TCD. WBI
  4. Love the trip report, thanks for posting! That State Park looks great, I'm saving that name for future trips. When I went to Gatlinburg a few years ago around the 4th of July we discovered the Smoky Mountain Brewery! We liked it so much I think we ate there 3 more times that trip! Everything we had was good and they had live music some nights! On a side note we pulled into Gatlinburg with no hotel reservation and we ended up staying right accross from the Brewery. It was a reasonable price and our room had a back door that overlooked a little creek, it ended up being great, I can find the
  5. Thanks Andrew it was great to meet you and your daughter too! Sorry it was such a short visit, we didn't want to keep you too long, not to mention we were a little out of it after only 4 hours of sleep. lol We can always talk about camping, DisneyWorld, Seaside, or I guess anything but we didn't want to take up to much of your time. I can't believe you've been going to Seaside regularly for so long, has it changed much? We're hoping to make a return trip in September to finalize wedding plans, but we're not sure yet. When you were there last did you see the new deck they added to the roof
  6. I agree Whip you were robbed! I had to post to defend my beer. I drink all kinds of beer but Coors Light is my beer of choice. I've always preferred it, as far back as I can remember, you know since I was 15 or 16, haha. Miller Lite is my least favorite, but I do drink it if there isn't any other options. I guess I'm in the Coors Light minority here though, but that's fine, just means more for me! WBI
  7. KEY STONE! :rofl2: I always thought those commercials were funny! Maybe that is why they won, but I agree all those winners are very strange from what I saw. I wouldn't have picked them like that. And why was that cart parked right up front??? I was able to hear through the crowd the kid telling his mom what they won. It was some type of Bay Lake cruise for up to, I think, 8 people! I think it was a fireworks viewing one, but now I'm second guessing what type of cruise it was?? I remember telling CP that it was a pretty nice award and worth quite a bit of money. Hey TCD don't worry abou
  8. Sorry for the delay again. This is going to be a quick post. When I left off we were at the golf cart parade. Guess what... We're still there. Here's the last of my golf cart pictures, which you've probably already seen in other trip reports: Here's the non-cart cart: Wow that's the last pic I took of the parade. Finally.. After the parade we walked by the pool, then decided we wanted to tour the 1500 loop, we always get the 2000 loop so I wanted to show it to CP. On our walk over we saw a group get off the bus at the 1500 stop and walk directly to the pool. Check them out: I tried to
  9. Thanks! I just saw your pictures from that morning, great job! Its funny to think that Yuri was exploring on an hour or two after I went to sleep. I'm going to be posting more from that morning soon, as long as work doesn't slow me down. Thanks! I have to be honest we were zombies the next night, it all caught up to us. Oh and I forgot to mention after this quick and tiring trip to Disney World which we got back from Monday night, we left for Washington DC at 5am (flight was at 6am) on Thursday morning! Talk about tiring we walked so much around DC it was crazy! But it was awesome! Hey I hij
  10. I thought so too, CP already said she wants to enter next year just so she can decorate. I think everyone should try the 3am in MK. You can do it too just rest during the day and start a little later than normal. Ya'll should try Jellyrolls! A little warning though, they have a $10 cover! I know thats crazy but its Disney, they do give you free popcorn though. lol 2000+ pics!! Wow I normally take a lot but 2000 that's impressive! Well I'm sure you've seen by now but there's a lot of trip reports to get caught up on and they are all good! Plus we'll want to see your report too! Don't wor
  11. Great reporting and pictures TCD! I've been slacking on my Fort Fiends time but I'm trying to catch back up. I missed most of the awards but I was there for the grand prize and I still don't know who won? I did hear what the grand prize was though, but I'll let you tell it. I'm ready for more! WBI
  12. Ok time to get rolling with this Trip Report. When I left off I went to sleep around 4am on July 3rd. I think around 8am we were wide awake, (yeah only 4 hours later). CP is a very early riser, and 8am is pretty late for me to, so we weren't to suprised that we were up. Plus we were at DisneyWorld on the 4th of July, "We were to excited to sleep!" does anyone else remember that Disneyworld commercial with the kids the night before their trip?) lol So we got up and got ready, I called for a late check out and we got it for 1pm. By 9am we had a coffee on the WL dock hopping a boat to the For
  13. Thanks! It was worth it too! I really like that picture too! I'm going to try and post soon about the next morning and the Fort, but you may already know what happend. By the way you are right, I am too young to remember that show, Kung Fu right? But because that line is so famous I did know it, its been said in so many movies and tv shows that I've heard it a ton, just not from the original source. haha Thanks! That was my first time till 3am in MK, but I have done 2am a few times at Jellyrolls after Epcot. Jellyrolls is the dualing piano bar at the Boardwalk, its a pretty good time! T
  14. Sorry about the delay, work got in the way of my Fort Fiends time, what's up with that. I have some catching up to do on everyone's Trip Reports, but first here's my next batch of pictures. We're still at Magic Kingdom and it almost time for the parade. I think this was the midnight parade. It was the least crowded parade I've seen. I was actually a little excited, I've never seen the Main Street Electrical Parade, I always saw SpectroMagic before and the last time I was in MK I saw the Christmas parade. It was pretty good: Here's the real Cindy: And for the Fourth some patriotic float
  15. Thanks! haha No we didn't sleep in the bunk beds, they give you another option, lol. Funny thing is, don't they charge extra for bunk bed rooms? I didn't pay extra. Thanks that Space Mountain pic actually was a second earlier than expected but we were ready! I love the Country Bear Jamboree, I guess its the music cause the animatronics could use some updates. A coulple times I've been the music was too low and people would clap so you couldn't hear it, those times it couldn't end fast enough. I have most of the music on my computer at work, its pretty funny when someone walks in and its playi
  16. Ok I'm finally getting to the next batch of pictures. This next batch is all MK with a bonus picture of something I've never seen! In my last post we toured the Lodge and then caught a boat to MK. We were lucky and caught a boat with zero wait! The park was packed, but we expected that at 6pm on July 3rd. The plan was get a Space Mountain fast pass then take it easy around the park until the fireworks at 9pm. Guess what that's what we did. After grabbing fast passes we went to Columbia Harbour House for dinner, it was busy and took a while for food, but we sat upstairs and peopled watched
  17. Thanks! I agree I really like it too. I wish I could take credit but the CP took that one!' WBI
  18. It's been a busy day at work but I'm ready for another post. I agree, if I can't be at the Fort the Lodge is a great replacement! Yeah she did do a good job, I'll have to leave her in charge from now on. The MK pictures are coming up so we'll see about that 3am. That's funny it was always my favorite too we would always go there and hang out in the lobby or eat or just look around, I just love the feel of it. We might have! I remember that famous topic, it was the biggest bestest one over there! Since seeing that memorabelia collection I started saving more stuff from the World in hopes
  19. Thanks for following along everyone! When I left off we had got on a bus at Epcot heading back to the lodge, and I have to admit, we were tired! After getting up so early, the parks and the margarita I was ready for a nap so that's what we did, I think we got to the room around 1 or 2pm. The plan was to rest up for awhile and enjoy the room, then tour the resort for a while. Magic Kingdom had extra magic hours till 3am so we weren't in a big hurry to get there. After about an hour nap we got up and walked around the resort. I love the detail and little Disney touches everywhere. The Camping
  20. Thanks! The Toy Soldiers were funny and no line for pictures. Thanks, yeah it was a long day and night! I'm about to post more! Haha yeah we weren't having fun at all. Thank you there is more to come! Thanks I've got plenty more! It was a great time, more pics coming up! I think you could handle it, we were tired but being at Disney we were able to push ourselves because it was so much fun. Next round of pictures is coming up! Thanks anolefan! We didn't get to spend as much time as we would of liked at the resort, but we still got quite a bit in there for a one night trip. You'l
  21. We're still at Hollywood studios. We ran into these guys while walking around: Then we stopped inside One Man's Dream: Could you imagine if they had built the real EPCOT, that would have been one big air conditioned area! Next is the Backlot Tour: Then we finally got to ride Toy Story Mania, there was zero Fast Pass line so that was good. After TSM we we hopped a boat to Epcot: I guess I didnt take a single picture in Epcot, but we walked straight to Mexico. CP had never been to San Angel Inn, and would you belive they had no wait. I hadn't been there in 5 years but turned ou
  22. I agree that headboard is great! I'll see what I can do next time. There are definitely some 3am MK pictures. The celebrity meet isn't until day two, but its worth the wait! haha Thanks I have to say it was great! I alway spent a lot of time in the lobby before but staying there was pretty nice! WBI
  23. Hey everybody! I know there have been a lot of trip reports from the Fourth of July but I want to add mine since it’s a little different. First a little history, the Camping Princess and I live in Naples, FL it’s about three hours from WDW. This year we have been debating back and forth about whether to get an Annual Pass or not. As the Fourth was getting closer we decided that we didn't want to be disappointed by the local fireworks again and we wanted to get away, and who has the best fireworks? WDW of course! So we did the math and figured out how many trips we would take this year and be
