  1. Stef! Great report! Thanks for sharing! I'm going to see Zak Brown Band tonight! They're going to be at Germain Arena in Estero, FL, just up the road. The plan is to start tailgating as soon as we can get out of work. It won't be as cool as your trip but the arena is pretty small so it should be pretty awesome! WBI
  2. Wow Holly great report! Sorry I'm so late, but I'm all caught up now and ready for more. There's too many great things for me to comment on at this point, but isn't Christmas at Disney the best! Really enjoying your report! WBI
  3. Then we hopped a bus to Downtown Disney: Passed the Fort on our way Downtown Disney: Then after wondering around a bit we hopped a bus to the Dolphin: Then we had a nice walk back over to the Boardwalk. I just realized we used every form of Disney Transportation that morning, walking, monorail, boat, bus, and walking. Once back to the room we went to the hot tub for a while then relaxed and got ready for our big night at Epcot! WBI
  4. Whoops sorry I’m slacking. I found these pictures from Friday night that I forgot about, when we got back from Magic Kingdom we checked out the Boardwalk Christmas decorations: Ok picking back up its now Saturday morning and we had reservations at Cape May Café, for breakfast. Staying at the Boardwalk, all we had an easy walk across to the Beachclub. On a side note, we’ve been doing a lot of Character breakfasts this year, and we finally decided we’re done with those until we have kids. Lol At first we had fun with it and enjoyed the food, but man those things are expensive! We’
  5. It was a great night! Me too Christmas is my favorite at Disney! Haha thanks! Yeah it was pretty crowded. Yup we did get the snickerdoodles! They were great, we ate way to many of them. So we just missed you! That's a good point, I remember seeing it once with the 30% off but it was still way too much for me. That would have been a sweet deal! I couldn't imagine getting one that cheap. 1. I know right! 2. Thank you! 3. Exactly! 4. Thanks! I give CP a hard time about the matching shirts but I do like them sometimes! 5. Can you belive that! Ok I'm ready to post some more!
  6. I've been! And I tried the new menu. I used to love the House of Blues and went there all the time. Sometimes for just a drink and the music but a lot of times to eat. We really liked a couple of the appetizers, shrimp over cornbread, and the catfish bites, some of the other things were just ok, but we also enjoyed it for the most part. Then on this last trip over MLK weekend, we went not knowing about the new menu, and honestly we weren't happy to see the change. Everything seemed fancier and not the down home southern anymore with the exception of a few things. They didn't even have a s
  7. That last post about the Inn Keepers Club wasn't too exciting to me so here's another: We had just had some free snacks and drinks and now we’re hopping a bus to MK! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is our favorite, but we had never been this late in the year, usually we go in November. And I have to be honest, it was pretty crowded. So much so we never got to ride Space Mountain, the wait was too long. We still had a great time though: Have you caught on that CP likes to wear matching shirts? lol The night was just starting: Here we are waiting for Big Thunder Mountain: We ate
  8. Thanks for following along everyone, I didn't mean to take so long for another update but here it comes. When I left off we had just left our amazing Garden Suite at the BoardWalk... Here’s a book shelf in the hall on the way to the Inn Keepers Club. It was time for drinks and apps at the Inn Keepers Club so here are some pictures. You should have seen the people run to the food when it was put out; they really made a meal out of it. We sampled some and it was all really good. Plus it was free to us! Here’s the concierge desk, but we never used them we already had our reservations. Th
  9. Thank you! I know we were very lucky with the upgrades and that we were able to have the wedding in Seaside and take that awesome cruise! You hit the nail on the head though, we are doing all this traveling and special trips now so we can start a family soon. We know that it will be a while before we can do trips like these again so we're trying to do as much as we can now before our lives get a little busier at home. But on a good note, we really like Cracker Barrel so I'm ok with taking the family there, haha. haha! (See above) haha you can always try! I suggest the t-shirt idea! lol
  10. Haha! We really did! We couldn't believe it! I agree! YES IT WAS! Yes we did, this one was really a shocker! Yes it was! Thank you! We had a great time those entire two months! Yes please check out Seaside you won't regret it! Thank you! I don't think we'll ever get to see those rooms again either! It was a once in a lifetime deal! Thanks! You know I've made more trips to DisneyWorld than I can count and those are the only upgrades I ever got! But they were great upgrades! The lottery didn't work out, I tried I agree on that name, lol I should change it!
  11. After getting back from our Honeymoon, we only had 19 days until our next Disney trip! We are very lucky! We are trying to travel as much as we can now while we can. Sorry to ramble but I’ll have to lay this story out for you: We booked this December trip during our Fourth of July stay at the Wilderness Lodge, using the bounce back offer they put in the rooms. When I booked it the lady asked if we would be celebrating anything, so I told her it would be our first trip to Disney after our wedding (the contemporary stay was a last minute decision). She told me she would make this a special s
  12. Thanks for still following along everyone! I agree our photographer had some skill! That's awesome ya'll got an upgrade too! I forgot but we also got a free desert at the California Grille! Diseny does rock! Defintely keep Celebrity in mind! They were great and the ship was very new! The specialty meals were pricy but completly worth it! Plus we booked a 3-dinner package so it wan't too bad. The service everywhere on board was top notch too! I've never taken a Disney Cruise but we really want to! That's going to be a future trip but honestly the cost of DCL always pushes us to another li
  13. For our last dinner we went to our third specialty dinner of the trip at Qsine. It was crazy fun and good. You ordered from an Ipad. Everything was meant to be shared, and was served in unique ways. Like spring rolls were served on actual springs, get it. I took lots of pictures: Sushi lollipops: Build your own Kobe sliders: Rockin Shrimp (it had a strobe light) Make your own guacamole: Lobster escargot: A special honeymoon cake: This is the desert menu; it was a box that you flipped around lots of ways to read it: Here’s build your own cupcakes: I can’t begin to describe the m
  14. Ok these next couple posts aren’t about Disney but I’m posting them anyway, I want to hurry up and tell ya’ll about our Christmas trip to Disney. A little back story, we live in Naples, FL which is about an hour and half from the Fort Lauderdale Port and two hours from the Miami port, this makes cruising a pretty cheap option for a vacation since we don’t have to fly anywhere. Matter of fact we got engaged on a cruise in March 2011 on the Crown Princess! When we started thinking about our honeymoon we wanted Hawaii, but we had a big problem our honeymoon was over Thanksgiving break, that mea
  15. I'm having trouble staying focused at work so I'm going to post another update. But first a couple comments: Haha yeah I didn't see it either! No we enjoyed it too, it was a great price, especially for last minute. Honestly we were having such a good time we added a second night. Yes it was! That's what I said, I figured we would wear those shirts everywhere! We actually tried it again when boarding our cruise, but it didn't work. Oh well it worked once, that was good enough. WBI
  16. I'm in! Flat Snarky is great! I took a flat stanely to DisneyWorld a few years back it was actually a lot of fun! I'm ready for more! WBI
  17. Ok back on track, after checking out our view for a while we hopped the monorail to head to Ohana. After a little wait we were seated We even met the big guy himself: After hurting ourselves at breakfast we hopped back on the monorail to Magic Kingdom, we took it pretty easy and just walked around doing a few things. This was on November 14th but most of the Christmas decorations were already up. It was a little weird though because it was hot! After a while we decided we better head back, we did have to be at work the next day. So we hopped a monorail again and went b
  18. Thanks Mayor Donnie! Thanks! It was an awesome view! Is that the trip where you stayed at the Allstars? We stayed at Allstar Movies this past weekend, it wasn't too bad. That would have been pretty good if ya'll could have TP'd the room or something, haha it would defintely have been a surprise. Your welcome! I don't think we will ever get to experience that again either, its was awesome! Thank you! (not sure if its true though) Ok I'm going to get another update going. WBI
  19. The next morning (Monday, Nov. 14th) we woke up to this view: We grabbed some snacks at the Atrium Club, but we couldn’t eat too much because we had reservations at Ohana! Our room number and location: More of our view: Ok that’s it for this post up next we’re heading to the Polynesian for breakfast at Ohana!
  20. After looking around our room we got dressed and headed up to the California Grill for dinner and to see the Christmas Wishes fireworks. Our table didn’t have a good view so we went outside to watch the fireworks: We both had a glass of wine and we split an appetizer that had 4 types of sushi tuna, it was great. Then I had a buffalo steak and fancy mac & cheese, and CP had some kind of special sushi roll. They were both fantastic! The meal was great but it was pricy its definitely a special occasion place. This post was shorter than I thought, get ready for another one! WBI
  21. Get ready I have another post coming up! Yes it was! But wait until you see our room we got at Christmas! Thanks so much! Yes it was a once in a lifetime experience! We actually talked about how we never needed to stay at the Contemporary again because we've already had the best room we could ever get there! Thanks it was awesome! I'm getting ready to post now! It was an amazing surprise! You know we had seen those keys before and always wondered what they were for, now I know. Bidets are so weird to mean, they seem like such a dirty/messy thing......BUT, I have to admit I've tried one
  22. Ok I’m back! Sorry for the delay but we made a quick two night trip to Disney this past weekend! It was awesome as usual and I plan to incorporate that trip into this report so I better get moving! Well its Sunday night (Nov. 13th) and we made it to the Contemporary around 8pm, that was pretty good time. We were pretty excited to stay at the Contemporary, the only Deluxe resort we had stayed at before was the Wilderness Lodge. We booked a Bay Lake view because we couldn’t justify the extra money for the Magic Kingdom view since we wouldn’t be there long anyway. (I was also hoping we would
  23. Thank you! We really did love our photographer! Ok I'm ready for another post! WBI
