  1. I am hoping for some help from someone holding an active Annual Pass. We have a trip in 2 weeks and have usually been able to get AP discounts for the fall trip, but I am not holding an active AP at the moment. We usually activate them before checking in at FW to get out AP discount, but because we don't have an active AP right now I can't see what discounts are available. So....are there any AP discounts for the Fort coming up in the next month?
  2. They can just park in that little open space at the entrance of the 1500 loop. It is closer to the pavilions anyways.
  3. I have never been to DL but didn't Walt come to FL to build WDW because he didn't have the space to expand in CA? Where are they putting all this stuff out there? Cars Land sounds like it is huge, plus California Adventure, hotels that I don't know the name of, etc..
  4. You know what we all know.....when it comes to ping pong at the fort.....we get screwed....HAAM.
  5. I think you guys were going HAAM on the WDW this day! Great trip! Actually, I think they have 200% more ping pong tables than the fort because in order to have twice as many the fort would have to have at least 1. i.e. 2 x 0 = 0.
  6. We went to the MK on red shirt day last year. It was great. People with red shirts always seem happier. How can I offend somebody enough to get a "Warning...BuckeyeFortFan at WDW 2day" banner flown when I visit? That should keep the crowd levels down.
  7. I don't think that is the Chesire cat.....It is Lucifer, that cat from Cincerella.
  8. 1. Lou isn't so bad. 2. If hating HHH is wrong, I don't want to be right.
  9. I just got a chance to watch the Hoopla video. I should say I got a chance to watch 5 minutes of it, because that is all I could tolerate. I don't know how you stood there for the whole thing, even if you were able to distance yourself from the diaper. What was going on on the stage stunk as bad as any diaper I have ever come into contact with.
  10. Great! Thanks for the trip reports TCD, it is really appreciated by those of us living a little further away! BTW....3 TSM fast pass just sitting there?!!? That is WBI kind of luck right there.
  11. There are 2 products (at least 2 entry level) that I know of that have more than a 1 year warranty....Jayco and Open Range. Not saying they are significantly better than any other product, but they are probably not worse. We just bought an open range and are so far pleased with it. I assume you want a TT and not a 5er....take a look at this floor plan if you get a second. http://www.vpix.net/...x.php?tour=6907 We got the mega couch option and it is great for a larger family.
  12. You had better stay in a deluxe resort then because those people will be able to reserve up to 5 urinal stops a day. Moderates will get you 4 and value resorts will buy you 2 pees a day. Trailer trash campground people will be directed to a nearby bush.
  13. Don't know how many of you have seen this article on the exhibit in EPCOT Innoventions that replaced the Waste Management recycling game. http://shine.yahoo.c...-232300194.html I wonder how they are going to turn this one around?
  14. I can vaguely remember this original ride from my first trip circa 1985. I remember it being one of the best things at EPCOT then. The version now with that British twit both sucks and blows at the same time. Rode it once last year. That will hold me for another decade.
  15. You are off to a great start! Don't worry that it is wordy cause I can reads good!
  16. TCD....did the guy who came into TE with the expired mugs buy new ones? Did he make a scene? Did he claim that when he bought the mugs he was told they never expired so he is entitled to free refills for the rest of his life as is the lucky devil he wills them to? I would have just filled them and paid the price of a regular drink and saved a disposable cup from the landfill.
  17. I vote for paying for a campground, getting some electricity to heat the TT or cool the fridge, and getting some good rest and a shower in the morning.
  18. Good one!. No I haven't heard about any OSU bowl prospects, but I haven't paid much attention either. Now that you mention it , there was some signs about a healthy diet thing. But hey, who would have thought the environmentalist propaganda of Waste Management would have been as fun as it was? We will see.
  19. Sorry about the lag in keeping this TR going. This weekend isn't looking to good either but please check back early next week. I hope to finish it up then. If you don't do rope drop, you are wasting your money and time. That's not "Commando', it's just smart. I actually like the new rope drop better. I never thought allowing a few thousand motivated WDW goers into the park, holding them in a small space for a silly show that hasn't changed in a decade and only a few of them can see, then marching them shoulder-to-shoulder, hundreds of rows deep at a forced pace over wet pavement, up and
  20. Monday, October 24. We were off to EPCOT. We left the campsite shortly after 8am. I don’t believe I have mentioned that we drive the truck to every park but MK. Here is a view of Spaceship Earth as we head into the EPCOT parking lot. See the empty parking lot! Waiting in line at the turnstiles for the new EPCOT rope drop, which is basically now “Hey, welcome to EPCOT.” We headed up to Soarin’ for FP’s and then the kids and I walked on while DW waited with the baby and then she took the kids on while I waited with the baby. Those kids are lucky! After that I trucked over to Test Track
  21. TCD, I only have one thing to say...."We're not worthy! We're not worthy!" Just kidding, but it is great to have you along. Brutus did make the trip but we didn't have alot of room at the site and the wifes Halloween decorations got priority. We are excited about Urban but I know some of the SEC guys are not happy with him. Glad to see you have no hard feelings! You are too kind! ROPE DROP!!! You will be prepared. I always feel our vacations are so much better because of this forum and I hope some of my miniscule knowledge can help. What do you mean more info than the average person
  22. Thank you very much. I rolled into the brace for my awning. It was just the right height that it slid up over the roof and no damage was done but I did mention it to Kenny. We love the parades too. MSEP is probably my favorite because 1. it is awesome, and 2. I can remeber seeing it back in the 1980's. I am glad they brought it back. We do relax.....for the 6 hours of coma like sleep every night. Then it's rope drop time baby! My wife is the foody. I will let her fill you in.
  23. Monique, Saturday the 22nd was the same day I saw the huge party on the beach in the evening. On our way back from the AK we also noticed the parking lots were packed with cars and there were alot of people around with wrist bands on, and I beleive many of them were on carts. I wish I had done some more investigating but if an entity has the dollars or influence to have a stage set up on the beach and then have the Spirit of Aloha performers do their thing, I would bet renting a few dozen golf carts to shuttle people is not out of the question.
  24. Sunday October 23rd. MK day. The plan is to again be at rope drop and hit as many rides as we can before the crowds arrive. The park had an unexpected 8 am opening, so to be there by 7:30 we have to be at the Fort boat dock shortly after 7 am. And that is what we did. Sunrise over Bay Lake… Back towards the beach… And off to the west. Here are some views from the boat trip. Waiting for rope drop. After opening ceremonies we always speed up Main Street, through the castle and into Fantasy Land. We hit Dumbo, get FP’s for Peter Pan, and then ride Winnie the Pooh. Then we head to
  25. You are welcome. It is very cool, just look off of the bridge to the right as you are heading into Camp Minnie Mickey. It is better that way. Thank you. Here comes another! I don't think I ate at TH before it was a buffet but that is interesting. The beach was nice but there were some rowdy boys their who needed a swift ass kicking. Of course there parents were nowhere to be seen. Thanks!
