  1. She actually said that she was Taylor from the Walt Disney World Resort and that she heard that we found Villains Unleashed to be less than magical, and wanted to talk to me about it.
  2. I received a call from Taylor at Guest Relations today! Unfortunately I was outside with the dog and didn't realize that she had called until about 5:05. Of course, Taylor got off of work at 5:00! I called her back and left a message telling her that I would love to discuss Villains with her. Hopefully she will call me back tomorrow (she works on Saturdays).
  3. As of now, I haven't been contacted by Disney regarding my email. My confirmation email said that they would get in touch with me within 72 hours, which has now passed. However, I did just get an email asking my opinion on Villains Unleashed! In all the years that we have been attending special events at WDW, we've never been asked to complete a survey about one. We always are asked to do a survey based on our overall experience with our trip and resort, but never an event. I'm wondering if this is something they normally do, or if they are doing it because they are getting so many complaints
  4. I didn't ask for a refund, so I doubt I'll get one. I just want to know that my concerns were heard and that hopefully it will be a better event for the people that attend the next Villains Unleashed!
  5. I sent an email Monday night and received a form letter back saying that they would contact me within 72 hours. I haven't heard anything back yet, but there is still time. My letter explained what I thought they did wrong, and several suggestions of things they can do next time to make it better. I hope they give me a call. I'll have to check out that website, Marty. I've never heard of it before. Thanks for the info!
  6. Well, like I said before, we will just have to agree to disagree. I've been receiving her newsletter for probably 15 years, and I've seen her love some things and not like others. I don't always agree with her, but I don't think that makes her a tool, or clueless, or spoiled or an ingrate. When I read her articles, I know that she is a VIP, and I have enough common sense to know that I might not have the same experience that she did. I just happen to agree with her on her opinion on Villains Unleashed. When I read trip reports, I don't always agree with what the author says, but that's ok
  7. Really, TCD? A tool? A clueless old idiot? A spoiled old woman? An ingrate? I actually met her last year at the bus stop at AKL (yes, the royalty ride the bus just like you and me) and spoke to her for about 15 minutes...yes, it was only 15 minutes, but I didn't get the impression that she was any of those things. Definitely not the least bit impressed with herself like she could be considering that she is "Disney royalty".   8. Considering that it is Deb Wills, i'm sure she was probably at the 24 hour events and the Limited Time Magic events. There isn't much at Disney that she misses. I agree with everything that she said in her blog about Villains Unleashed. I didn't see the Oogie Boogie show, so I don't have an opinion on it, but from what she said, I'm glad I missed it. I think from now on I'll stick to the Disney events that they do well...MNSSHP & MVMCP! I think they also do a great job with the special events that they have during the Food & Wine Festival, and from the one RunDisney event that

  10. That's exactly what I had planned to do. I'm going to tell them why we love WDW so much, why we love MNSSHP and MVMCP, and then explain why we were so disappointed with this particular event. I just want them to know what they can do to improve Villains Unleashed in the future.
  11. Thanks, Lou. I'm not one to complain...actually I never complain (I'm one of those people that even gives good tips in restaurants when I get bad service...drives DH crazy), but this was not even close to being worth the price we paid!
  12. I am a big fan of MNSSHP and MVMCP, so I thought this would be the same type of event. I bought my tickets the first day that they became available because of this, but it was nothing like those events. No parade, fireworks weren't until almost 1:00 in the morning, just lots of long lines. I'll be writing a letter to complain, although I doubt it will do any good.
  13. We will never do it again! Major waste of money...and waste of the time that I took off of work to go down there! I wish we had gotten our money refunded!
  14. We're here and standing in a ridiculously long line for a t-shirt. They said we are probably an hour and a half from the end, and they may be out of shirts when we get up there. The event doesn't even start for another 45 minutes! I can't imagine what it would be like if they actually sold out this event!

  19. Are you dialing a 1 before 407? I always do that, not sure if it is necessary or not.
  20. Do you think it would be okay for a four year old if he met the height requirement? We'll be down in a week and a half and I know Dylan will want to ride it. He's pretty tall for his age, but I don't want to even try if it would be too scary.
  21. The sites that I think you want are the orange or purple sites. I would probably avoid the red sites. In my opinion, the best site is #94. I've booked it twice and both times had to cancel. One if these days I will actually get to stay there!
