But we had a neighbor kid that constantly came over and plopped into one of our chairs every chance he got.
Can't believe I missed this post. I agree with CitaPita, totally over the edge. Time to break out the tacks and broken glass........

Ahhh, forgot about Segways. No personal experience, but don't they go pretty fast?
Yes, TCD, it's Great Adventure. We've been OK with bringing in a water bottle each, tho technically not allowed.

You paid for the site. You own the site.
I try to make it a point if there are issues like this to talk to my kids about proper etiquette, making sure I am within earshot of the offenders. My kids know what I am doing and follow along. Problem is it usually falls on deaf ears.

went back and edited my response......
By the way, my initial post is number 8.

All caught up. Great updates and overall a great time.
Don't worry about the pictures. It's not a 'terrible thing'. You need to enjoy your family through real life, not a viewfinder.

I'm not a big drinker, so 5 beers was plenty for me for a couple days. As long as I have an ample supply of water, I'm good to go. On a rare occassion when we're camping I might have 3 beers in a day. But then I'm too tired to do much that evening.
Cheap date.
The 3 beer a day thing comes in at Defeated Creek, huh?

DTD is not listed as a location having the package pickup service. Only the parks are shown.
The service you used was the service where you can have packages delivered to a resort and that is available at DTD.
Correct schmuckface. And, this is what Marty is asking about. I am right and you are wrong, schmuckface.

At least it's not a policy like this.....
FOOD, DRINKS AND COOLERS
Food, beverages or coolers may not be brought into the park. -
The cooler you saw at DHS is questionable. The soft-sided one looks fine size wise.
I still don't like it. It's a tripping hazard, big time.
And, I think we've all seen strollers that are beyond the posted size limits.
I'd love to see someone anywhere with a mobility device with less than 3 wheels. Is there even such a beast?

Nice update.
Empty pools for the win.
Two beer related comments. That bucket would have lasted me 20 minutes and always carry a church key.....

Hey Lou, what's the official word on package pickup within the parks?
I know a couple of years ago we were able to have stuff we bought in World Showcase sent up to the front of the park to pick up later so we didn't have to lug it around all day, and we didn't want to have to wait for it to get to the Meadows the next day.
Is that still an option in all parks?
This is what we did for AK. Simple procedure.
Also, this service is available at DTD as well. Our purchase was big and it was a blessing to have them deliver to Meadow.

Nice update. I like the pics of your Mom and Grandpa.
Sucks about the rain and parade being canceled.
Still, you made the best of it.
-
I hoped you pranked the correct drunks or there may have been another tired pissed off Dad.....

A transportation problem during a TCD trip?? What is this world coming to?
Sucks about the rain and Mine Train being down. Made up for it with a Fiend meet and greet.
I knew it was going to be BOG for dinner. Score. That seafood/pastry dish looks deee-lish!

When is this over-rated movie going to thaw out?

So, I tried to think how you would re-word that sentence. This is what i came up with.
Lou, I hope the future holds that for which you wish.
I think your way sounds better.
Nice college try Marty.
Maybe I should have just said Good Luck Lou, but that could be construed as being snarky and that's not what I was looking for.
I'll reserve that phrase for when he gets his dream job of Equine Excrement Technician.

Last page one post is the new first........
I'm in. Love the camper.

One of the beers in your beer pic is Bell's Oberon.
Deliciousness in a bottle, brewed here in Michigan. Even better on tap.
Yes, Aaron, thank you. I knew someone would post the answer to one or both of my two I couldn't figure out.
I am not fortunate enough to have them distribute to my lovely state, but I was fortunate to experience their brews.
Thru deduction, I was able to figure out the other. It's Napa Smith.
Mission complete.........

He will always be MagicBus in our house.
I wasn't posting at the time, but I do know that handle.
Lou, I hope the future holds what you wish it to.
(crap, my Mom always told me to never end my sentences with a preposition, but it doesn't sound right any other way)

Sucks about the ticket debacle, but man, it seems you made up for it.
Oh, and yes, Lou knows what that monorail contraption is....
-
This is not the droid you are looking for.
I knew someone would pick that up, but seriously, where's the robitics expert?
-
This is going to be a wonderful thread to follow.
Please, please, please, please, keep going with the updates.
And, Good luck & have fun. This will be an experience that your precious kids will remember, both the rehab and the enjoyment after.

Anna + water = giggles. Love it.
Who doesn't like water....and sand. Oh, we've been over this. Sorry. Carry on.
