Nice date night at 'O'ha'na's. I'm still upset I couldn't get an ADR.
Glad DD1's sickness was short lived. Would not have made for a fun drive.
Thanks for sharing your trip. Glad you had a good time.

How convenient. Your back gives out a week earlier so you don't try the bungee........
Loving the updates.
-
Accidents SMB. Glad it wasn't severe and you were able to continue.

And BTW, your voice isn't terrible at ALL!
I cuncur. Quit sweatin the small stuff. Get that rig on the road and enjoy!!

The area behind is where we sat when we got Yak and Yeti quick serve.

Only $65?!?! What a deal! Will Delsa be there? :rofl3:
That would be worth the price of admission. Will Delsa be performing the Harlem Shake?
Is that a dare?
Sure. I dare you. Better make it more than a 24 hour event tho.

Great update.
I think the spooky story has something to do with the chip bag. That bag was there....taunting all of us....from the beginning of the video....to the end...
PS, great choice in wall covering for the bedroom.

Yep.
When we saw the ones for the Vinnick party, they were just ridiculous - mostly because they were so close. Maybe even a little too close, as we got showered with some debris at some point.
I know MK's holiday fireworks will be incredible, but if these are anything like what we saw a couple of years ago, they aren't to be missed either.
But then, I'm a fireworks junkie.
But then, you're also 1300+ miles away. Be tough seeing the fireworks, even if you get the time correct........
-
Those aren't for fireworks. They are beginning the process of installing pilings for the monorail across the lake to the Four Seasons.
There it is.
So they were telling the truth when they stated 10 minutes to MK.
Unless the monorail breaks down. And, according to Lou, 'it will'.
I want to know if you are not invited to the private event, are you not allowed to look up when the fireworks go off???

I'm not a fan of travelling with a large group either.
"Watch The Tram Car, Please" let's see who gets that reference....
Good luck on the lighthouse climb.
You should have stepped into Coyote Ugly. Sources tell me that Slave Leia was dancing that weekend.....

Coo coo ca choo Mrs Robinson.
Awesome photos.

I remember nothing from the Tamiami Trail during our family's late 70's trip except we were on it. Route 66 FL style. Might have to plan something before it rots away....
Love the "Do Not Remove Tarpon From Water' sign. Amazing what needs to be said these days.
Is that real money hanging from the bar roof? That would be gone up here before you could say 'Jersey Sucks'.
Sweet rental house.

Jason-
What was the first attraction you rode? I am not familiar with Managed.
TCD
Well, shoot. I wasted a bunch of time typing MK ride names into my phone trying to get the autocorrect to turn it into Managed. I couldn't for the life of me figure it out!
I'm really surprised at you two.
This is the ride where you navigate through and around big strollers, wheeled coolers, people that stop in front of you for no reason, backpack spinners, parties of 10 that walk side-by-side, etc.
You 'Manage' to make it to your destination without beating someone to a pulp. No FP+ for this attraction. Sorry.

Sick at WDW SMB. I know from experience myself. Looks like AK day worked out though.
RV parking area at AK. Nice.
Love the freebie EE picture. Your face. DW face. The mom up front clinging to her kid.
I would have ridden with you again on EE.

Lol! You guys are great! Reading all your replies has really turned any anxiety into excitement! Like I said one we get there and shake to road off, I will give a shout to locate some other for Fiends. I'm blown away by how all of this brings so many people together. It's awesome.
Thanks again to everyone who replied!!
Think of it as a 'heightened experience'. You get the magic of Disney with the added benefit of a bunch of kooks. That's what I got.......

OK. I'm gonna chime in. What is the definition of hot? WDW forecast is mid 90s. Not sure about humidity but if low or reasonable I wouldn't consider that Africa hot or 14,858 degrees hot. We get that mess up here. Sorry to agree with Lou but I am.
Speaking of up here. Checked the forecast to where I'm going this Sat for a week. High of 65 first day then 70-75 for the remainder. Is that hot?

Welcome fellow New Jersey-an. You've gotten a lot of great responses to your questions/concerns.
Amplifying what others have said. Sit back, relax, & enjoy. The Fort is a haven and you'll have plenty of Fiends there for support should you need.
Feel free to post a Trip Report of you escapade should you want. No pressure.......

Here is my report on last minute FP bookings so far.
Do to the craziness so far on this trip I finally got to make some last night at 6 pm for Magic Kingdom that evening.
For big rides I was able to get Thunder Mountain and Space mountain. I also booked a Pirates one as our friend who joined us was in Disneyland the previous day and wanted to ride both in 24 hours.
We weren't arriving at the park till 8 and it was open to midnight
Pirates was a walk on at that time so i moved it to another ride. It ended up on Jungle Cruise which we didn't need but I wanted to see what I could get.
We road with those and others without
Managed
Pirates
Thunder
Haunted
Small world
Jungle cruise
Space mountain
Buzz light year
Dinner at cosmic rays
Philharmagic
Not bad for just a few hours.
Not bad at all.
Did you use the MDE app for the change or a FP+ kiosk? I'd like to know if the app is running a bit smoother.

Anna dance. Steak fries. Sunset. Not bad....

[threadjack] Did you see that Traction Park is back open this summer, under the original name and with the son of the original owner running it? I bet I still have scars from alpine slide road rash. Apparently it's safer but they still have some of the original attractions - tarzan swing included. I'd LOVE to see a TCD Traction Park trip report [/threadjack]
I have never been there, but have heard stories about it. I am up for a TR. But, I probably don't have time to squeeze it in this summer, so someone else needs to go.
Yeah, saw that this spring. For the record, Mountain Creek has run a water / summer thrill park but with little or none of the original equipment for some years now. And, much tamer.
They plan to bring back the name and some 'action' supposedly.
For those that don't know what's being talked about, here is a recent news article. This place was insanely dangerous.

As for the last TCD installment, all I have is 'Fuego' (close enough) .

The trip from hell. Glad you at least got some good times in between. I think I would have lost it and blown the whole trip.

I remember that cat show from the last time I was in Key West Circa 1990. I hope he's using different felines......
