We will be there October 15-22nd. Planning on hitting Epcot two or three times. If anyone is at Epcot on the 18th come by the Seas pavilion and watch me, DW, and DD(13) scuba dive in the aquarium. My DD just got certified and where better to take her for her first dive
My DS got certified at 11 (DH is an instructor) and did his first dive in the Living Seas - it was fantastic! Enjoy.

Oh... that's one of the sweetest things, I've ever heard.
Thanks! Maybe I was Daddy's girl, but for me he was a really special guy.

My dad once thought his EZ Pass worked in FL. Realizing the his mistake, he taped the quarters to an index card and mailed them in. Really miss him.

I know for some of my clients with special needs family members a straw is a necessity for them to be able to drink. We had just picked up some metal ones for our stainless steel travel mugs anyway so I will just bring them along.
This is a fact of life for us. We already carry straws for the Animal Kingdom because the paper straws do not meet my guy's needs. I guess we will carry straws for the other parks now, too.

Not a bad price with new batteries. We bought ours from ebay "as is" for about $600. Got lucky that the batteries had a little life, so we were able to put the expense of replacing them off for a year. We needed to add headlights and a windshield. Our total investment, without the cost of our labor of course, was under $1200.

A weekend trip once a month is my DS's greatest wish. We would need to be ALOT closer for that to happen....Great start!

The nostalgic part of me is sad to see the change, but the practical side says "Yay!

Looks like you had a fantastic time!

Enjoyed reading along.

Very disappointing for those of us that haven't seen it yet. Doesn't seem like a wise business choice to charge high and present a "cheap" product.

Sounds delicious and refreshing. Wish I had one right now.

Thanks for the pictures. Looked like lots of fun!

That is a clever idea. Why is it I never think of these kind of things?

Glad some of the clouds from your journey are lifting. Looking forward to the rest of the story.

Since we work in education, we must have our trip in the summer. I am finally seeing a reason to be happy that we endure the August heat.

Sounds very scary...

We were tracking this too. It was kind of interesting...

We are really looking forward to seeing this, but were unable to get FP for Slinky Dog. Now I am a bit worried. Hopefully, things will get more manageable by the time we arrive in August. We are definitely early risers and plan to take advantage of the 7am extra magic hours. I guess we will plan on arriving as early as possible.
Glad to hear Mr Potato Head is back! We missed him.
Thanks for the on the spot reporting....

That's just perfect!

Can you imagine how many fingerprints will be on the interior of those windows?

I am finding that the level of visible construction across the resort areas is very distracting. I do not think I would stay at any of the related resorts - especially not at the price per room. On our January trip, the entrance to the Coronado Springs was a construction site and a huge crane. Not exactly the "welcome home" i would expect....

That looks like a "craft" that I may have a shot at getting right. Very cute. Thanks for sharing.
Hollywood Studios Parking?
in WDW and Disney Park Discussions

DH and DS visited the Studios last week and were shocked to be dropped off at a bus stop that was farther from the park entrance than both the parking lots and the charter bus parking. When they finally got to the entrance area all of the old bus stops were blocked off. Does anyone know if this is a temporary condition?
