Thanks for sharing your kids accomplishments. I about fell out of my chair when I read the words fifth grade and your DD. I was wondering where the time went. Though even her being in 3rd grade is slightly unbelievable. I still picture her as the little 4 year old in your early trip reports.

She has a black eye right now from getting elbowed.....if I would have posted that, that would have really thrown you for a loop!

  2. I am going to give this a quick recap on the time I have been gone.....

DS12 won 4 state titles plus Gameday National title and Youth Nationals title.....he has six rings now.....crazy.

He won his teams most valuable pitcher award and coaches award.

His team was 101-13 last year and finished ranked 19 in one set of national rankings and 26 in another and, for a northern team, it doesn't get much better than that!  They won 15 "major" tourneys last year alone.

His football team lost in the Super Bowl two years in a row after winning the title the year before.

His basketball team won almost ninety games while losing about 25-30....winning many tourneys along the way.

He also has just finished another trimester with All A's in school; having never done anything else.

He also won the district's 5th grade spelling bee last year in one of the biggest districts in the state!

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DD is still playing soccer and doing very well having one several tourneys/leagues since I last posted here.  She actually had a game today and won 4-1 with a goal and two assists.

She is also working hard in basketball now; playing 5th grade travel ball this season as a third grader.  She takes extra technical skill training for both sports and is really improving rapidly.

She does not get letter grades yet but has been doing very well in school and is now part of an extra enrichment program for excelling students.

She has also decided that when she gets better leg strength, she wants to attempt to be a place kicker in football.

That is a brief synopsis and for those of you that read my posts here previously, that should bring you close to up to speed lol.

I have gone through here and caught myself up along with those of you I was still following on FB.

Always fun to see/hear how the younglings are doing!

    Peace be with you....
