Agree with IDWD 100%. I've wanted to remove a trash can or two over the years. 2 years ago, I was having an especially difficult time due to the jackwagon directly across from us being parked partially on the road. Worst part? He stood there and watched to make sure I didn't hit his truck! I finally got out and not so politely asked him to get out of my way. Got right in after that.
We pull a 40', and we like the 500 loop. That said, there are spaces in there you will not get a large unit into. Not without a chain saw...
Others are very easy to get in. Take your time, you'll be fine!

We'll be back again. Exact dates should be set in a few days.

DW's came in time to be a Christmas gift. She was thrilled!
Now she says we need to go more often, seeing as how she owns part of the place...
-
Most here are very easily amused...

We got caught once in colder than expected weather, and had to buy clothes we had at home.
Our camper now has at least one pair of long pants, a sweatshirt and a light jacket for each of us on every trip. It doesn't take up much room, and you never know when you might need it on a cool evening.
Yes, I despise buying stuff just because we didn't bring something.

She sounds hideous!!
Well...she's a guy...

Both of the Brian girls swim...summer and winter leagues. They love swimming.
Yesterday's YMCA meet, held at Lock Haven University...
DD11 (Morgan) swam in 4 events...200 medley relay, 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and 50 butterfly.
4 1st place finishes! She's really starting to shine!
DD9 (Hannah) is the youngest in her age group due to her birthday, so she's swimming against 10 & 11 year olds. 4 events, 4 2nd place finishes! I thought for her age, this was just as impressive as her sister's performance.
OK...dad's done bragging for the moment. Carry on...

We've used it as a stop in the past. No problems... typical KOA. Clean and quiet.
Lately we've been stopping at the Jacksonville North KOA, right at the Florida/Georgia line (hey!...)
We stop twice driving down from PA, and Jacksonville has become our go-to second stop.

I know in my area you can go and get a frozen daiquiri at a drive through and you are ok as long as you leave the lid on and don't put the straw in.
Alcoholic drinks at a drive through? Are you serious?
The anti-drunk driving groups in Pa. would have a stroke if someone tried that here.

Yes...Congrats! I wondered what the new avatar was. Very nice!

No way that's the overflow lot. I don't see a single utility trailer angled the wrong way across 3 spaces...
-
I agree. And at most NASCAR races, there would be a least one person flat on their face on that dirt road...
-
I saw it leaving in the bucket of a front loader. The fort hired an outside contractor to do the dirty work...

And be sure to link a credit card to your magic band.
Then you'll learn where Disney R&D came up with the name.
Money disappears from your account like, well...magic...

Thanks for the info, Grumpy! Ran over tonight and picked one up, and he signed it for us. It will look good over our fireplace!
-
When did you pick that one up? We tried to get one last week...no luck!
-
Where did Jen & Chris end up? I have raffle stuff to drop and shirts to pick up...

Is there one short list of sites that everyone has for Halloween? I know there's a site numbers thread, but it's getting tough to sift through and find current numbers...
We're in 2804...

As far as Donnie goes, I'll second that. We rented the 5th wheel over July 4th for my sister's family. Couldn't have gone better.
Quiet and near water? If you ask real nice, Donnie may drop it on Clementine's beach for you. It's relatively quiet, other than Lou's nightly water parade...
Oh...almost forgot...WELCOME!!!!

I noticed a bunch of utility trailers (I assume for carts) with the tow vehicles still attached, basically taking up 2 spots. Or cart trailers dropped with the hitches facing in, so no one could use the other half of the space without blocking them in. With just a little bit of intelligence and consideration, that lot could easily hold twice as much as is randomly thrown in it now.

We saw that when we were headed out to DHS around 11:30. There was a huge backup of rigs leaving, and overflow has been full the last couple of days. Obviously they had nowhere to go, but I've never seen it before either.
-
The electrical problems alone would be enough to keep me away. Plug into that without a surge protector and it's going to cost you thousands... if you don't just burn up your rig.

I made my pick for Friday's game, and reminded myself about a half dozen times to go back and finish.
The next time I thought about it was yesterday afternoon...
Crap.

We own a 2011 F350 Crew cab dually. Best truck I've ever owned. We pull a Keystone Montana 5er that is 38' long like it's not even back there.
We pull a 40' Fleetwood Fuel toyhauler with the same truck. Open interstate? I can almost forget I'm towing. And our last trip from PA to the fort we got just over 10 mpg, towing 16,000.
