Did you hear if it was flooding/trees or infrastructure (water/sewer/power)?

I think part of it is that many regulars probably do not want to fight for reservations to wear a mask on a golf cart. Hopefully as things slowly get back to normal the posts will once again rise. We do need to promote the site and get some "New Blood"...

Highly recommend the Fort Fiends FW Sites app. Shows all the info you could want on each site and a picture to boot. You can look at each site, combined with Google maps you can get a pretty good idea where you want (or don't want) to be.

There are more than ten posts so going off the rails is ok and in many cases expected. 😁
Really getting to be like the Fort in here... There may still be a few rails but finding them can be a challenge.😉

OK guys, Golden Corral was just used as a example buffet. This thread is taking a strange turn. Is there a Golden Corral cult or something?

My respiratory system precludes me from wearing a mask, I will wait until masks are not necessary to enjoy the park. I will wait, so even if the park shuts down completely and goes out of business, it will be worth the wait.
I have had multiple heart attacks, high blood pressure, diabetes.... Guess you could say I am high risk... I could go through the rest of my life being miserable or enjoy the time I have left. There is nothing I enjoy more then the Fort and Disney so I am willing to deal with it.

Let me just add.. I do not see Disney banning anyone for life over just not having your mask on. I saw many times that cast members would remind people about the masks if not worn or worn properly. It is what you do AFTER the reminder that creates the ban. If you fight and argue about any rule you will get tossed.

I will return when things go back to being normal. I will not risk being banned for life for something as stupid as wearing a mask.
I have been twice since the mask lunacy. Went in September and it was way too hot. After two hours on Main Street I said f*** it and went back the the Fort. I was there on a cool weekend a few weeks ago and it was bearable. Took my 1 year old goddaughter for her first Disney trip and it was cool enough that the mask, although a pain was doable. I think the only time to go wearing a mask is in the Winter. Can not imagine July.

So be it!
Don't get me wrong, I feel many of the new rules are plain nonsense. Why do we have to wear masks on a golf cart? If Golden Corral came up with a way to reopen then why not Trail's End?
I should add, as soon as you go into the pool area I guess Covid can't swim because you can take your mask off even if you are not going in the pool. -

Once again, rules mater more than people and their rights to their freedom.
I am not a big fan of masks..... But... It is Disney's property and Disney's right.. Anyone who does not want to follow Disney's rules should stay home. Your rights stop at the property line.

That's gonna be a pretty sweet ride! I hope you get it soon, being "so close but so far" is not a good feeling.
REV is the same parent company that built our Discovery...
Not sure yet if Rev buying Renegade will be an improvement. They put out a great product before but I heard some nightmares after the merger with Fleetwood. I guess only time will tell.

For future reference there should be a way to manually retract the landing gear. It usually entails disconnecting the power to each leg solenoid and manually opening the valve. After that the power to the pump is disconnected and you use a power drill to run the pump through the manual control fitting. Once the legs are up you reconnect the electrical. I can't say how easy it will be to get to your RV's components but it is worthwhile looking into for the time the hammer doesn't work.
Yup, like an idiot I had taken most of my tools out of the RV so I did not have a socket or drill with me. BUT.... I did have a crescent wrench..😁

Sounds amazing!
I think it will be if I ever get it. Was supposed to be done in October and keeps having delays. I guess furniture and AC units among other parts are in short supply. Now they are saying February.

Yeah I loaded it with options. Plan on this being my last one and hopefully I am not going anywhere for awhile. I wanted the bunks and the two full baths. Both baths are being done in the porcelain instead of fiberglass. Also lots of small stuff, solar, dishwasher, etc.

Yup, could not believe how lax they have gotten on the rules..... UNLESS you don't have a mask on while riding around on a golf cart. OK for your 8 year old to drive it, but they must have a mask on.

Thanks guys, Handy to have for the future. Probably my last trip with this RV anyways. Have a new one on the assembly line.

Called several but no one called back until the evening.
I actually fixed it myself. I could hear it clicking but no movement. I beat the solenoid and motor with a crescent wrench and it suddenly worked. Obviously not a long term solution but I was able to head home. -
At the Fort now trying to leave. The LCI Levelers will not come up on my class A. Anyone have the number of a good repair service that I can get to come out on a Sunday morning?

I think one of the main things many people like about Disney is that it takes them back to their childhood. In my case my mother and aunt brought me for the grand opening of the Magic Kingdom. I have ever since always seen Disney as my happy place. I have been many hundreds of times since and still get a special feeling when on drive onto Disney property. From the writers statements I would have to guess he only associates Disney memories as his mother worried about getting ripped off by a mouse..... Very sad..

Pretty sure that unit only has left and right. So L+R A and L&R B
You would need some sort of a surround decoder/amp to get the rear and center channels. Most TV's have it available in the signal but without a way to process all the channels it won't work. Those radios they use in the RV's are not much different then a car radio. Car radios have left and right, front and rear. You control by using balance for L&R and Fader for F&R. Only difference is they ave front setup as A and rear setup as B and you can turn each zone off.

thanks for the assistance, I noticed that the mix separated in fridge. This is good so i can remove the water and use milk with the mix with some pineapple juice to get a usable product.
Hmmmm. Not sure that will work very well. Let me know how it turns out.
