  1. Electric stabilizers we don't have and I'm okay with that. Electric awning on the other hand I love. We camp a lot at Kerr Lake and storms build quickly. I can get the awning in quickly and by myself. It does prohibit hanging my mickey lights on it so I hang them around the easy up.

Don't sweat this. None of them are perfect. Get that rig in your possession and have fun making it yours.

  2. We've got that skylight in ours (same floor plan) and I could take it or leave it. If it wasn't installed already I wouldn't have one put in. Just something else to go wrong. It also doesn't seem to add that much light.

I also wouldn't worry about others walking through. It still smells new and was made for you, they just didn't know it at the time.

In a few weeks all this will be behind you and you can start making memories.

  3. Yep, Disneyland is now on my bucket list. Or maybe my 50 list...which gets started in a few months.

Great report. I wish I had the encouragement from family and the courage to take time in my 20's to enjoy a few things. I spent most of it trying to get through college, then beauty school, then building a clientele.....which I promptly let go when I became a mom!

  4. Finally caught up....great report...thanks!

As much as I love hitting the World with my boys, I am looking forward to the opportunity to just "wander" around with my husband. We honeymooned there many years ago I think it will be fun to just be there and see the things we pass right by with kids in tow.

Love the pictures of the gatherings. Hopefully one day I'll be able to attend one!

  5. Poor little girl. What a great idea to help get her collection started again. I am shocked and disgusted at what lengths some will go to get things and not pay.

    My name.

And you are funny. Everyone calls Jason, Jason. It's not a made up name. And trust me, he HATES that his parents made his middle name the one he'd go by. It's a pain.

Yeah....DH and I both have that problem. We we had the boys we agreed the first name on the birth certificate is the name they are called!
  6. I see what you mean by saying things looked familiar but unfamiliar.  DL seems to have maintained the charm that brings people back time and again.  Unfortunately WDW seems to be losing it's original charm to the never ending quest for more money.  I still love to visit, but I do long for the details that seem to have dissappeared.

  7. I just looked for most of January, and most of February, if you book seperate reservations - Sun - Fri morning, you can get pretty much any level of campsite, then keep trying to fill the middle weekend as time gets closer.

I just had to do this myself. I booked Jan 19 - 24, with the hope of adding Jan 17 and 18. After daily checks for 2 weeks I finally got the 17th then a week after that I was able to grab the 18th. Fortunately I was able to get the same level site for all days.

Don't give up... hopefully since the 45 day mark for cancellations is coming up, people who snagged a site "just in case" will be canceling.
