I figured it out!  Sorry to interrupt your trip report.

That is no April's fools joke....That is a pig....at the Fort....on a leash.

We were there that morning you received the letter. We didn't get one! I also never saw a bat....and we were there for another week. I did see an alligator. Last year I saw a pig on a leash.

But TCD Sister #2 never had red hair. 

 

You need to post a photo of you from 1986 so I can judge for myself.

In 1986 HappyRedhead wasn't so red....

So I'm reading this report and my son looks over my shoulder and wonders why my picture is in TCD's trip report. What do you mean I asked. He pointed to TCD sister #2. 1986 TCD sister #2 and 1986 HappyRedhead look very much alike.

How did your son get to watch it twice in one day? Were there two performances on Friday?

We first watched the parade from just about where it starts. I wanted to get a Dole Whip and do some shopping so my son went to catch a boat. He got down Main Street just in time to get blocked from the exit by the parade finishing. So....he saw it twice.

I also read GaDawgFan's trip report and used the link for Be Our Guest fast passes. My experience was the same as yours, easy in and great food. We got there shortly after you did apparently. It was my mothers 70th birthday so we all split a Grey Stuff cupcake. Wish I had one now.

We didn't see the parade that day, we waited until Friday. My oldest son got to watch it twice.....in the same day.

After 4 trips of trying, we finally saw Fantasmic last week. Not what I expected, although I'm not sure what I expected. I like Dave's idea of a pirate show.

I think I expected it to be more live characters and less projection on the water sprays. Cool idea, just wanted more live action.

Warm Brown actually.....red, yellow and blue in equal parts make brown....in unequal parts make anything from Elvis black, to Lucy red to Marilyn blonde.

So that gives you 2 red and one each yellow and blue.....so warm brown.

So there is your lesson in haircolor.

I spent many years trying to teach that concept to hairdressers. You'd be shocked at the amount that don't get it.

I have never stayed in 2000.....from the packs of Cub Scouts that were there last week, I doubt I ever will.

There was another tent on top of a car in the 2000 loop, did you see it? It wasn't quite as elaborate as that one. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it.

Let me check with my DH. His work vehicle is also our tow vehicle so I need to confirm with him. If I'm lucky he'll drive me down then come back and get me.

He still doesn't understand why I would want to spend a weekend with complete strangers. Somehow I think one weekend and we'd be anything but strangers.....heck one hour.

It's possible I can bring ours. I'm still learning to tow it so this will give me a good excuse to practice. I can sleep 5 pretty comfortably 8 if we snuggle.
