There is a C/M parking lot between the guest lot and the bus stops at AK. I too have seen them walking in the front gate to work. It kinda gives ya that budget park feeling!!!

Great Pic's! I remember going there when it was under construction and standing on a platform overlooking the park. I was only 4or 5 and I could swear that we rode the Monorail there on some sort of VIP thing and were able to stop and look at the construction.

They will probably sell those flags in the shops!

I bought a older camper off E-bay and when I got it home what a can of worms! I had to replace the whole front half of the camper because of water damage. I did it my self and learned way more than I ever wanted too about camper construction and repair! I would find a friend that knows a lot about RV's to go with you and go threw the whole camper with a fine tooth comb. Look for water damage and staining soft spots and warping in the interior paneling mold smells. Check the pluming for leaks the gas lines and the electrical for problems. Look at the wheels Tires axials and the under carriage

We have stayed at the Fort many times without doing the parks. We even have been there with family that are doing the parks and we still just sit around the campground. We might go to the pool and people watch or ride our bikes and explore. Its just nice to be there!

Good knives! I cant stand trying to cook without good cutlery I might as well be trying to cut and chop with a brick as to use some of the old knives in our camper!

I have used a Thermacell for years . Its a small butane operated mosquito repelling device that clears a 15-20' area.I have bought them at Walmart Homedepot Basspro and on the Thermacell web sight

I sold our PUP but when we had it I would clean the canvas with mild soap and water.I used 303 Aerospace Protection to water proof every 3 years or so
