Good to know. I am amazed at the stuff I have learned here. I will be ahead of the game when I finally do buy a TT.

I hate it, I hate it, I love it, I hate it, I hate it, I love it, hate it…..I think. I do hope it never happens but it at least looks good if it does.

After our good luck we headed over towards Barnstormer(I was still trying to talk DD into trying it). No go, she was happy to go onto Dumbo. We were red carded again, but it was basically walk on.
Trying for some artsy photos again.
ooohh, light color change..lol
While DD and I were riding the pachaderms hubby walked over to the shop there and fell in love…..
They were giving out samples of the ghost Mickey apples. white chocolate covered carmel green apples….OMGosh. He said he would come back to Disney just for those apples… New favorite of the Family.
After departing the elephants and finding Daddy, and some unsuccessful negotianions, we headed to tomorrow land. DH wanted to ride space mountain again, and I wanted to see what else we could find to ride. We found Buzz light year. It kinda freaked DD out. She is very much a super scaredy cat and the waiting area is intense. She made it. And yes I am competitive...
I have no idea what pirate Daddy was doing…lol
After the fun we decided to go to the people mover. DH was starting to fade and I wasn't sure how much more we were going to be able to do. With the rough ride in we all were a little tired, but DD and I would deny it…lol
We rode this last trip for DD first time and she loves it.
Ah found new stickers…love it.
I think we hit the wall.
I told them to smile, last picture..
and it was. This was Daddy's last part of the Disney portion of the trip. Tomorrow is Animal Kingdom...
updated for correct links.

Thank you for sharing your trip and family with us. It was fun to read along.

Wish we had krogers in NJ.

Thanks Lou.

With a 32 "C" you shoudn't have any trouble backing in. We get our 37' Super C into preferred sites fairly easy.
But your probably really good at backing in. If I had to I probably could, if hubs had to forget it. He couldn't get a pop up in the biggest site with out a few tries.

Oh no. Mo has a truth-o-meter. You in trouble now....

So to give Dad a break we headed over to the cabin's quiet pool. Since we were on the 2600 loop it was a very short walk over. DD has been taking swim lessons so the swim vest they had here where a great surprise. I was able to find one to fit and let her practice her swimming. yay.
before putting on the vest.
I had her swimming to me or to the side of the pool. I think it was the first time she had to move herself in the water.. I was good. It tired her out. We headed back to the cabin to take a nap. We would get up and head to the magic kingdom.
We were busing it this trip. So about 4:30 we headed up to the Trails End to see if we could get dinner. They were mobbed. With wait times close to an hour. We decided to see what we could get in the Kingdom. Pixie dust. We walked up and a big boat was just docking. We made the boat and headed over. We had paper tickets so we had to wait for a head Castmember to get our tickets run thru the swipy thing. Then we were off. We decided to head towards Daddies favorite POC. We saw that there was a very small line for Tink so DD and I stopped here first.
We got red carded. (this was the first time ever seeing them, we got them a lot this trip).
We walked over and hubby road the BMRR while he was doing that we were able to catch the Electric parade. DD was in love with this parade. We just watched from in front of the BMRR. After that we headed to Fantasy land and had more pixie dust (aka great timing). Belle's house was walk on. The lines were so long on our last trip that we were not able to catch it. I did warn hubby of the possibility of guard duty. He said when the CM looked his way he gave him a look and he left him alone…lol He has a really scary look. lol (I once drove by him when he was on a car stop, and thought I would not want to be the person in that car)

Thanks for sharing. I love the old pictures.

The trip did get much, much better for DD and me, not so much for the hubs who was stuck in conferences all day.

June has been around for a long time. Hubs and I saw her in 2006, that was pre Jordan so we had no clue. Now Doc we would love to see.
-
Ok. Not so shortly but I am ready now.
Hopefully I will remember what happened…...
Now where were we. Ah, yes Saturday Morning.
We woke up early about 6:30am and just hung out in the bunks for a while waiting for Hubs to wake up. We were up and talking to each other at about 7am. We knew buy the map and the signs out the window that we were pretty far in to Florida. Yay, happy dance. Looks like we will be early…
We called the Attendant and had our shoebox put back to rights.
While he was rearranging the room, DD and I headed down the hall to the potty.
Here is said potty. Seems slightly larger than the one in the deluxe room. Maybe, because there is no shower curtain. The showers are across the hallway.
While trying to help DD not get too thrown around, I realized the train was slowing. My guess is we are getting to a populated area.
DD and I headed back to the room, and by then the train was stopped. Per the view out the window, we were in the middle of nowhere. Hubs decided to go get something from the breakfast car. He brought back a few sad muffins and a little box of cereal for DD. We ate, it was not the best but not the worst thing I have ever eaten.
The train was still not moving. (this was lasting longer than we have ever seen before) Hubs started to get cranky. There was no announcement, so we just thought that we got far enough ahead of schedule that we had to give the CXS trains the right of way, it is their tracks.
We started to slowly move…..YAY…..we stopped, BOO. This happened a few times. Then there we sat. For at least 30-40 minutes. Still no announcement. Also our attendant had beat feet and disappeared. We could have paged him but we needed nothing but to get to the station and to the Fort.
We started to slowly inch ahead again. By now it was after 9 o'clock. We knew we where not going to be early, we hoped for on time or a little late. NOPE. We stopped again.
I decided to see if I could scrounge something else to eat from the lounge car. So I headed out. 3 cars over.
I found most of the employees in the dining car. Most where watching 2 employees, have a heated discussion on who pulls their weight and who is a Whining baby.(not my words) I ducked my head, laughing, I passed thru here and when to the lounge car. Here is the lounge car.
This is the bar where you can buy drinks at night. The bartender is on duty til 11pm.
This is the fully set up dining car, where the fighting was going on. They at least got there work done while waiting to get to the station.
We did not see our attendant the rest of the trip except at exiting the train. (our tip showed that). Since we ride free, we are super generous to the attendants but you do have to check on people occasionally, ya know, to see if people need water or something. Hiding doesn't help you.
I also not sure if the difference in service is because we were in a roomette vs a deluxe.
I grabbed a few more muffins and headed back thru the dining car war zone. Our attendant was there with a bunch of others watching the entertainment..
I headed back to the room.
Finally we got an annoucement. The whole state of Florida's train railroad crossing computer system went down and they had to send out people to every railroad crossing to make sure that no accidents occur. This was a CXS rail line system not Amtrak. Amtrak does not have priority on CXS lines, but that day no one was moving fast. When we went by the RR crossing there was someone there each time.
We started to slowly move and stayed slow the rest of the trip. We got to the station about 11:30am.
Hubs head was about to explode. So we exited quickly. Then we had to wait for the Suburban to be offloaded.
I did find out something new. If you want you can pay for priority(first cars off). For us on the way down to Disney it would be worth the $50. not so much on the way home.
The Suburban was about half way thru. We got in and got out of Dodge or Sanford.
We hit the Mcdonalds before rt4. It was 12:30.
We got our grub on and headed towards the Fort.
The happiest sight in the world, at least for me.
Even better
We checked in. It took them a while to find our reservation paperwork. This one night cabin stay was a comp night due to our last trip. (see my no airplanes, but trains and ambulances trip report). There was extra paperwork to do.
This time we were in the 2600 loop.
We moved in and settled down. Our original idea was to head to the park early but the train delay ruined that. I did find out that the Magic Kingdom was having Magic hours so I decided to let Hubs take a nap and I took DD to the quiet pool.
Hubby was not happy with how things was handled last time and was not in love with the mouse like DD and I are. So this trip was a re-do in my mind. Damn train ruined the relaxing start I had in my head.
The best laid plans and all that.
Off to the pool. Too be continued…..
Edited for really bad spelling and to add a few missing things.
