Well the Tennessee chapter of A Pup's Tale is coming to a close. It was short but we packed in as much fun as we could. We have gone down I75 thru Atlanta and I65 thru Alabama. The ride thru Alabama is so much better. Check with Tnbob he has better info.

Has anyone ever tried one of those Off Clip On thingies? Wonder if they work.

Walmart sells bug repellent that is 40% deet, I found it in their camping section. Deep Woods Off is only 25% deet. It might work better for the Fort.

Does anybody know how the yellow fly and mosquitoes season has been at the Fort this summer. We are planning on being there over the 4th of July. My youngest granddaughter is allergic to mosquitoes and I am allergic to the yellow flies. Any news on those damned winged things will be appreciated.

Well I will have to side with Cherie here, the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian was just the best. I enjoyed it much more than a GAG, come on fried chicken, limpy fries and beans that keep giving back long after eating. The tea was so good, wish I could afford it everyday (found it online, wow $). The finger sandwiches were really good, although small (small is not in my vocabulary) and the desserts, well desserts are in my vocabulary. I am currently anticipating the next birthday tea, with a new purple hat. It was so much fun.

If you are just wanting to spend more time in Florida look into Grand Lake Resort in the Ocala area. We stayed there and Thousand Trails and Grand Lake was way nicer. We also have a friend that has stayed at Grand Lake for an extended time for a few years now and loves it. They have alot to offer, much more than Thousand Trails.

Just want to mention something to you. Are you renting the RV from home and driving it down? Have you already checked the prices including your gas etc. You can rent a 5th wheel from one of our members, he will set it up on the site for you and have it all ready you just bring yourself and clothing (you will have to grocery shop).
