  1. this is going back a few pages, and I'm too lazy to quote at the moment, but the bent Christmas tress might be a Whoville thing.
  2. We went swimming again, Brian, Adam and I had lunch at AoA and my parents walked over to Pop Century. I would have went with them had I known they were going. I really like Pop's food court better. We aren't fancy people, and AoA had some fancier than we cared to eat stuff. Pop Century has amazing loaded nachos, can't say the same for AoA. Brian had pulled pork sandwich, I had the kids turkey sandwich and Adam had spaghetti He doesn't like their pizza. I have to agree with him, the kids pizza is awful. Remember, we are snotty when it comes to pizza! Adam showed off his stickers from his hair
  3. We walked over to the bridge that links Pop Century and Art of Animation, I think it was called the Generation Gap Bridge, but I'm not sure if they will rename it since that doesn't make sense any more. We were on a hunt for fish. In the past we have always had good fish feeding experiences in WDW. The docks at Wilderness Lodge and The Grand Floridian were usually good spots. What do fish like to eat you ask? Goldfish crackers, poor things probably are over dosed on salt. Anywho, we didn't find many fish but we found these guys! There ended up being 6 turtles there, I forgot what my dad said
  4. The Little Mermaid section is the only section that has the regular rooms. Everyone complains that it's far from the buses and the food court, which it it. But somebody always needs to be the farthest away, I'm just glad it wasn't me this time :) The pool in this section is bigger than the Cars section but doesn't compare to the Nemo pool, Big Blue. Oh, btw the pools are all gated and you need a room key to get in there. So take that pool hoopers :hah:
  5. AoA isn't build and better than the other values in regards to noise. You still hear doors slam, toilets flushing and people in the hallway. Some kid was crying at 3 am about wanting milk. I was going to open the door and see if they needed help but they either stopped or I fell back asleep, not sure which. I didn't think the ventilation in the room was that great. It seemed to come out on both sides of the wall separating the bedroom and the sofa bed, so they were cold and it was hot over by the Murphy bed. We had given my parents a grocery list of things to bring. We figured we had the littl
  6. Hi Bo! There will be more today! Unless I fall asleep when my son goes down for his nap, which is possible! We enjoyed it. Not sure which I like best, MNSSHP or MVMCP Hi Gwen! Thanks! Thanks! We had a family suite. It was nice having 2 full bathrooms, that is the only thing I would change about the cabins. One bathroom and 5 people makes everything take longer. We didn't make it too far into SM. Where we stopped the wall on the right was solid and the left was open. I couldn't see by my husband said there was a dog robot down there? I haven't been on Space Mountain for a long time so
  7. After hair cuts and pixie dust we headed to see Mickey Mouse as his posted wait was only 5 mins! We waited about 10 but it was no big deal. I tried to take pictures but Brian decided to photobomb me. Adam was thrilled to see his pal Mickey. Mickey knelt down to see him so then Adam had to do it. Which led to a family picture and Mickey's shoe got dented in while he was kneeling. Next up was Buzz Light year per request of Adam. I really enjoy our first stroll down Main Street of each trip. We walked past the bakery and enjoyed the lovely smell of baked goods but didn't stop as Adam can't ea
  8. you are! Congrats! Your trip reports will be the cause of any delays in this one! I'm reading your current one and Anna's first trip to the fort! Love them! yeah! and you are from Lakeland! We will be visiting there later on in this report! Hi Doodle!! This kept me from chat tonight! hi Carol! yeah! (BTW we just took our arches down yesterday!) I'm all about nagging for Christmas, can't help you with summer nagging, too hot for me! yeah! Denis Quaid is here! My SIL wanted to crawl under a rock. She wasn't thrilled with our shirts and they got us a lot of attention! Guess I can't gi
  9. My parents arrived and we checked in and we were in the Nemo section. At first I was bummed because I knew Adam would love Cars more, but our room was really close and he didn't care what section we were in! We didn't even bother checking out the room, we were starving and went right to the food court (after stopping at the pressed coin machine). It was early so we were still able to get breakfast. I had to speak to a chef to see what was safe for Adam to eat and then was able to grab our food. Adam and I got the kids waffles with fruit (the BACON looked awful) so I didn't even bother having t
  10. sorry the pics are huge! I can't get them smaller!
  11. We landed early and were on our way to the Magical Express after a quick potty stop. We had no wait at all and actually walked right on the bus (last year we waited about 30 mins and the line was huge). We got to ride a real ME bus this time too! It had been a Mears and a DCL bus on prior trips. It was a brand new bus with seatbelts, it was pretty nice. All Adam kept asking about was when would they start the video. I had sent a text to my parents when we landed so they knew to head over to AoA (they were at their house in Lakeland). They got about 15 mins down the road when Pa realized he for
  12. So let's get to the good stuff! Our trip! Adam and I had been counting down, but then I realized this was going to backfire on me if he realized the night before we were leaving that it was the next day and he'd never sleep. So I confused him and added some days. I thought I was really slick. Yeah, it didn't work. He slept terrible and so did I. I let him come in bed with us around 2:30 and we both just laid there and weren't sleeping. Around 3am we both got a wicked case of the giggles and then that was the end. We had to be up soon anyway as we had a 6:30 flight and I'm super crazy about bei
  13. With little time to plan and pack, I got little sleep the next few nights. My biggest concern was matching shirts. I can't help myself, I love them for family vacations. Here's proof :) 2010 with Mimi and Pa 2011 this time with my brother, his wife and their 2 kids (some how I ended up with my niece in front of me) so how could I let 2012 be any different? I really wanted the tie dye shirts in Halloween colors because they are awesome but the lady who makes them is not good at customer service at all, so I knew that was out. So I went on a hunt for matching shirts. After 5 Targets I could on
  14. Here's Bubbles and the Fam (Me, Brian, Pa, Mimi and Adam) I'm a SAHM and spend my time driving my son around, coordinating fundraising for his playgroup, helping plan and organizing the local food allergy walk, and dreaming of the day I will make it on to the Disney Moms Panel. DH (Brian) has a really physical job and works a lot. He likes having movies in our backyard. Mimi and Pa are both retired and awesome. They love WDW and are traveling all the time. Adam is the best kid ever! He's full of energy, Disney loving (wants to be a firefighter there when he grows up or drive a bus). He kno
  15. just started today. 50 points, don't be jealous :)
  16. okay, I'm right there with your mom, I can't see the bear. Never can, if someone could be so kind to bust out some editing tools and drawl a face or something on it for me?!!?
  17. oh you even brought your Elf on the Shelf?!!? Props to you! My son loves his but I have heart failure over worrying I'll forget to move him, or even worse touch him! I finally got to see Gwen's videos now that I'm on my laptop, great videos!! I feel like I really got to know your family through them!
  18. Love reading along. You are blessed with a wonderful family and the pics of Anna on the piney are so sweet. Old Time photos are so fun! We did one as seniors in high school and my husband and I did one when we were 20ish? It's hilarious and my son did one this summer.
