Hey Lou....tell them to move it to my front yard. We have plenty of room. LOL And Keep me posted on any good decorations in the store. Love you Mr. Snarky!

Am I the only person who really liked the hat? I hate to see it go.
-
I bought one while we were there on one of the rare days we were well enough to go into the parks. Also I bought the Mickey cup with popcorn in it. I love them both. Wish I had bought more than one of the trains.

I HATE football....especially when I am right. I have said all season that my Alabama team does not know how to plan 4 quarters and today was no different. And when you have 11 players on the field and only 4 of them do most of the playing, something is seriously wrong. Alabama did not deserve to win this game. The team that played today do not deserve to play for the National Championship. Now I will be pulling for Oregon. Better luck next year Alabama. I still love them but I am not happy with them right now. LOL

How do these wash?

That Chubb is really something else. What a player. I missed the Notre Dame game and was so excited to hear they had won.....love the Irish. Now on to the next round of games and then tomorrow Auburn, Alabama....oh are there any others. LOL

They are awsome. I love them.

We were yelling for Texas but it did not help. Sorry Maryann.

I am looking forward to the Auburn/Wisconsin game also. I think Auburn will win it but some others disagree with me. I
think they will win by more than my dear husband does and he is an Auburn Grad. I am still thinking my alma mater will be National Champs this year but we shall see. I think Oregon will beat FSU but one never knows.
All my sisters and my children make predictions on the Alabama and Auburn games and I give a gift to the winner at the end. It is an all new game on January 1. Thus far all of them have picked Alabama and Auburn except for my son, Joey. He says he can never pick Auburn Or Aubum as he calls them. LOL It is all in fun.

Remember that the 10% discount for AP holders does NOT apply to most of the "fast" food places in the parks. Not sure
about the restaurants like BOG, etc. because we never eat there. Shawnee loves Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bills, The Commissionary, The Electric Umbrealla, etc. so that is where we usually eat. We want our boy to be happy.

Ken and I were talking today about how much better Ohio is than before Meyer. I think it is going to be a good game. Justhoping it is not tooooooo good for Ohio. LOL

I realize most of you are much younger than we are so walking is easier on you. Us old folks have a hard time doing too much walking. Pushing the 3 wheel chairs helps me as it gives me something to hold on to when walking. We have enjoyed having oI our own golf cart especially when I have LARGE loads of laundry that is too much for our small washer in the RV.
The kids also love "looping" especially during the holidays when there are decorations. It really comes in handy. But if you like to use a bicycle then I would suggest you continue to do so. It is great exercise. My grandson brought his this
week and he is enjoying it. I think anything you use at the Fort will be fun. ENJOY!

O.K. I will start the discussion.....who do you think will win the National Championship. I know we all have our favorite teams but who do you really think will win? I am sticking with Alabama. Next????

When our TA made my daughter's reservations she requested she be put close to us. Then 2 days out mydaughter faxed a request and I also called the front desk the day she was to arrive because the site right next to us was empty. I was told the Supervisor was already making sure she was next to us. And she is. It is great.

Keep us posted when any of you find out what is going on.

Thanks everyone.

My daughter got in this afternoon,. She is right next to us. We are in 1016 and she is in 1019. I can't even drive this RV straight ahead and she backed hers in with no trouble. That girl is good. Much better than her old mom.

We have been caught when the park closed. The boats from the Fort all knew about it. It happened to our family on the 31st. I took Melissa and Darby to the boat and she checked and he said it was open to those staying on property and/or with annual passes. She had both. So they went straight in and had a ball because everyone was celebrating the parades, etc. and she and Darby rode all the rides as many times as they wanted. Christmas Day, we know not to try and get near the parks.

We requested the 1200 or 1400 loop when we checked in but they were full. Maybe that was a good thing for us after all. LOL

Is there any way to get fast passes for later in the day? Every time I go on line to get them they give me times for 7:30 or 8:30 am. There is no way to get our 3 anywhere by 8:30. I wouild love to get them for around 2 to 4 pm. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
-
Dave, please let me know if they do put them up for auction. Love you.
-
Dave, where did all the props that were displayed in the room we went through to get on the back lot tour train go? I loved those things. They can bring them to my house......
-
Ours are on all night too. Santa would be upset if they were not on. This is Christmas after all.
-
We saw it too. It was late starting and did not have near as many golf carts as in the past. And only 3 or so would even qualify for best decorated or theme.
Ken went over to the Bike Barn to see if they would be judging the campsites and it was closed. So don't know ig they are judging this year or not.

We will be camping at River Plantation April 3-12, 2015. That is our kid's Spring Break. Looking forward to be there again. Prices are reasonable too. I made our reservation this week......9 nights RV Site Full Hook Up 50 amp pull thru 4 adults and 1 baby. Total for the 9 nights:$417.39. Well worth it. We also asked for a site we have used before that is right at the Bath House/Laundry. They have reserved it for us. You all would enjoy being there. And it is very convenient to the Outlet Mall, Dollywood and lots of restaurants, etc.
They do have cabins also. The smaller, cheaper ones have a set of bunk beds and 1 dbl. bed, A/C, Microwave and small fridge. You have to furnish your own linens.
The larger ones, more expensive, have a kitchen and bath also.
