A teacher at our daughter's previous school, has a son who signed with Virginia.  He played for a high school here in Ga.  His name is Jordan Ellis.  He is a good looking kid and a fine football player.  Am so happy for him and his sweet family.

There is just no end to Lou's talent.  You would think he would do a painting for me....or should I say Shawnee who thinks Lou is his best friend forever.  He always asks to see Mr. Lou. :heartsmiley:

Sorry we will miss all those going to the Fort for the 4th.  We will be in Tn.  Have fun everyone.   :mh1:

My favorites (yes I have more than one) are Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Pie.  I do love apple but when I have a choice I take one of the first two. Key Lime is wonderful and I have made them and I do use Lime juice but it is a special one.  I also love home made lemon pie but do not like any of the ones that are store bought.  They do not taste like real lemon.  The easiest for me to make is cheesecake, which is more like a pie to me than a cake. :jumpforjoy  :purpleflam:  :fork:

Haunted Mansion will allow you to by pass the front room, where the room gets smaller, and go to the back.  There he can easily get out of his chair and walk, with help, to the ride.  He may have to get on the moving platform but often they will stop it or slow it down.  We have used this route several times when Shawnee and Kimberly were light enought for us to carry them from their chairs to the ride.  They are much to heavy now.  But since George can walk a little you should have not problem with most of the rides.  Good Luck and have a great time. :wave1:

Every time we are at Disney we see children who have been to the BBB and all the hairstyles are the same.  Everyone of them.  I would love to see one that is different.  All the ones we saw at Christmas (and there were many) had the Cinderella look.  Maybe that is what everyone wanted but it would be nice to see one that is different once in a while.

"The DAS card is for people who have no apparent illness?"....our children certainly have apparent issues but we got the DAS cards anyway. They took their picture for their card, put their name on them and asked about how many people would be with each one of them. So I guess you do have to have an obvious illness/injury to get the card?

I saw the movie Fever Pitch last night with Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore.  It's kinda a sports movie with a heavy dose of Chick Flick interwoven.  My question: Are all Red Sox fans so fanatic?  A hundred thousand for two prime season tickets?  And "grandma don't don't die this weekend because the Yankees are in town".  It must have been a decent movie, cause it kept me up to midnight.

Our TA has already booked our premium site for 12/10 til January 5, 2015.  She has also booked our daughter for 12/22 to 12/27 and will have the rest of her time booked soon.  She has always been able to get our sites when we want them.  Not sure why some can get them and some have to really work at it.   That's just Disney, I guess.

I have one of the largest pin cases they have at WDW and it is pretty full.  I have found the clutch type backs do not hold as well as the

black Mickey Head shaped rubber ones.  I have some large, heavy pins and the clutch backs would not hold them so I switched to the

rubber ones and they are great.  I now have to purchase another pin case for Kimberly's collection.  Her lanyard is completely full and she has a bag full waiting for a place to show off.

I told everyone that if I bet on FSU that Auburn had a real chance of winning tonight.  Right now it is sure going in their favor.  Any time you want a specific team to win....ask me to bet on the opposing team.....I NEVER win.  I did have to pick my team for the Sugar Bowl and you see how that turned out.  LOL

On to next year.  Will be interesting to see how the new system works.  Just for tonight....War Eagle....

Enjoyed the video of Barbara dancing.  I love it when the CM's get into the spirit of Disney.  We were there on the 30th but did not see the parade that day or Barbara.   We are home now and missing Disney already.

I agree TCD...with that kind of money I would buy a cabin in the mountains so I could visit when there was snow and then go to Disney the rest of the time.   :jumpforjoy

My TA has been able to get us 12/10/14 thru 1/5/15 and last week was able to book my daughter and her family 12/22/14-12/27/14 and expects to have her other 5 days booked soon.  TA have ways of getting the time you want if you book far enough out.
