I have a charger for the golf cart that has a "switch" (it is a little more complicated than just flipping a switch though) for the lithium batteries. Obviously I will have to do a bit more research, especially because I have an antique coach, to make sure changing over is the best option. Thanks for the insight.
We have a 2017 Chevy Bolt that I use to commute to work and back. I know all to well about the not charging below freezing, lol.

Supergeek and I have an antique Monaco. We have always used regular batteries but are considering replacing them with Lithium. Anyone have these in your rig? I do know that we are going to replace the golf cart batteries with lithium. Both will cost a bit more, but replacing batteries all the time is for the birds.

I won't be going to MK until Christmas eve, but already I am wondering why? Am I the only one that thinks putting the Hatbox Ghost next to the never ending hallway with the candelabra is wrong? Help me out here.

I saw from Santa Settles that there were sites open on Halloween that you could get reservations for! I know they were going for a good penny too. It is sad honestly. I long for the days when I could go for a couple weekends a month again. I wouldn't even mind the drive now that I am further away.
I also wish DVC wasn't so freaking full all the time with their reservations. (off my soapbox now)

For those of you who need a download on apple of the app, it is under construction. Apparently France has made a coding requirement on the Apple platform that Supergeek needs to rewrite some things. Hopefully he can get a couple of minutes to himself and be able to tackle that without interruptions.

am I the only fool these days who has an annual pass? lol

A new patent from Disney aims to reimagine the waiting game that you play in your car. From waiting for a pick-up order from a take-out restaurant to spending an hour charging your car on a long road trip, there are a few scenarios where Disney is looking to reimagine the experience of waiting around in your car using immersive technology that is readily available and used in its theme parks already.
In the patent, Disney starts off by describing how modern cars have increasingly sophisticated onboard computing and infotainment systems, but the medium to deliver the content (sometimes small screens on a dashboard) is hardly immersive.
While Disney does describe conditions where drivers of a combustion-driven vehicle will sit and wait in their car, we’ll focus on the electric vehicle aspect described in the patent. Disney says that electric vehicles may need long periods of non-driving time to charge. During that time, occupants may find themselves in their vehicle with little to do while their vehicle charges – sometimes for several hours depending on charging time and desired charge levels.
To fix that problem, Disney envisions an immersive entertainment pod where people can drive their vehicle into an immersive pod and be fully surrounded by entertainment while they wait for their car to charge (or, for example, for a to-go order to be completed).
Inside the pod could be a charging area for your vehicle to connect to, but also a way for the surrounding entertainment pod to integrate with your vehicle. As seen in the patent image below, you would drive your vehicle into the pod and then be surrounded by entertainment. In the implementation imagined in the patent, you would be able to “drive” around a safari and experience different animals while your vehicle charges.

I really love Trader Sams. With that being said, why are all the cool things at the Trader Sams in Disneyland?

Guys. We Have To Talk About The New runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Medals.
If you’re part of the Disney community on social media, you probably scroll through seemingly endless photos of runners posed at Disney World as they embark on distance races through the park a few times a year.
You might think to yourself, “These people pay to run? On TOP of walking through the parks for hours on end throughout their trip?” Well, the answer is… kind of. We’re actually paying for the gorgeous MEDALS that we’re rewarded with upon finishing a race. One fan-favorite race weekend hosted at Disney World each year is the Princess Half Marathon Weekend, which includes sunrise yoga, three distance races through the parks, and a race challenge that allows you to compete in the 10k and half marathon. Well, Disney just shared the bling that you can score for participating in these races, and believe us when we say they are fit for royalty.
Without further ado, let’s check out some medals!
For those who participate in the 5k (3.1 miles), this medal with Ariel will be awarded! We were really surprised by the art style used for these medals, as it doesn’t resemble anything we’ve seen before on Disney Princess merchandise. It almost looks comic-style!
Next up is the 10k! Those who participate in the 6.2 mile course will receive this Rapunzel medal. We love that this one resembles the Sundrop Flower!
Those who participate in the half marathon (13.1 miles) will receive this gorgeous medal featuring Tiana. This one is our favorite!
Those who successfully complete both the 10k and the half marathon while maintaining an average of 16-minute per mile pace or faster will receive this Fairy Tale Challenge medal!

NEWS: One Airline Is Offering Flights to Disney World for UNDER $50 for a Limited Time!
There are two things that fall pretty high on our list of favorite things to do.
One: travel. Two: save money. Sounds a bit contradictory, huh? Well, lucky for you, we’ve just found a way that we all can do BOTH. We know many of you are currently in the throes of planning your fall and winter vacations, and since this time of year is especially hectic and a bit expensive because of the holidays, we think you could really benefit from this great deal.
JetBlue is currently having its Fall Real Sale where you can score flights from only $49 one way. What’s even better is that there are even vacation packages available that are as low as $295.
So, what’s the catch? Well, you have to book by October 12th at 11:59 EST. You also must travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between October 17th, 2023, and February 14th, 2024. Blockout dates also apply, and you can’t travel between November 21st, 2023 and November 28th, 2023 (Thanksgiving travel) or December 19th, 2023 and January 9th, 2024 (winter holiday travel.)
The good news is that there are flights available to Orlando, so you could book these flights for a Disney World vacation! We found flights as low as $49 to Orlando.

no, you are not seeing it wrong
some of the categories we listed don't have much traffic, but it is my aim to get people back here talking and to get new people here as well
we don't have to talk about the fort everyday, I certainly do not post about the fort on the fb pages and that sometimes gets me yelled at, but I just don't care, lol

Ok, so a bit of an update here...
In order to get this particular update done, Chris has to crack open the code and insert a tidbit. He says that he believes that is going to cause some other things to go down, so this might take a little longer than expected. However, if you have already downloaded the app, it will still work just fine with no issues. The problem is going to be with anyone who needs to download it from the apple store. As far as I know, the google store is fine.
