  1. I saw it, however, I was being dragged by a seven year old and I was on the phone with the husband. Too many things going on at one time! :parrot:
  2. at least he didn't slam us... that is something I would say
  3. There is a fiend that has tried this. PM TiggerinBama, as she has camped and worked before. It turned out to be a losing financial situation. She can give you all the details.
  4. Please check www.fortfiends.net/store for stickers and upcoming items. We will always have a link on the Fort Fiends FAQ so remember it when someone asks! :)
  5. I wouldn't feel so bad Lorna. You were duped by the photoshopped pictures. It will make you appreciate the next place that much more. She gave me the fence site....then talked me into a premium site at the Fort this weekend...I am so brainwashed. She has special powers.
  6. It's Lorna's fault. We came back this past weekend and we are going back this weekend. Damn you Lorna.
  7. I think they said they sleep something like 9 people.
  8. Can yall go and put that on the FAQ's? I would appreciate it. Thanks!
  9. you weren't supposed to squeal about my kid and the ice cream
  10. I agree with you on the offsite locations, but if I was going to do that I might as well stay home as I only live 15 minutes from Disney and the Fort. It just isn't the same, I actually do not like going to the Park when i am not staying there, I am sure a certain amount of therapy might help with that. ok, I don't have your "problem" with mileage
  11. I am with Jim...looking for offsite places and will be visiting Fiends more often. (just not where I was last weekend)
  12. Fine, you get credit for Crystal River :welcome2: The place wasn't terrible, it just was that we stared at a fence the whole time. :rofl2:
  13. You can always do what I just did and stay off site and go and visit fiends at the Fort. You get what you pay for and it is a bit of a hassle, but if you are on a budget/or you like to go more often and can, it might just be an option. Thousand Trails has weekend packages as does several other DVC type places, even though they are "owned" resorts and they are close by.
  14. How to build a mickey lamp post is a thread in the crafting section. Please go there to find the instructions on how to build the lamp.
  15. They are not lying when they say they fade in sunlight either. Lorna and I saw several that were looking very tanish. It was sad really. Whoever heard of a tan flamingo?
  16. We got what Lorna picked out and what we paid for...um, not the Fort.
  17. I also want to thank my guardian angel today, because when we got home from the playground (picture below where my son found the ice cream truck RIGHT AWAY!), I found that one of my lug nuts on the jeep had wrenched off and another one was well on its way. The tire had almost come off down our street. I rode home 151 miles like that behind our RV. Something told me not to hook up the jeep to the RV today. I am glad I listened to my little voice and that this happened when we were down the street. I still don't know what caused the bolt and lug to wrench off, however, I know they have been
  18. This is super geek not knowing if he is coming or going...with two laptops in the FW parking lot... and my son, who still is not really over the flu and still kinda sick and crabby and not up to par...did I mention crabby? on Lorna and Richie's cart
  19. Ok, I found where I was...Orlando South... Here is a picture of my view from the east side... Notice the lovely scenery and lack of retention pond. I was so moved. And here is front of the retention pond... Here housed a generator that clanged and banged all night and all day long, except when the little repair man was fixing it. It then resumed its clanging and banging.
