  1. These pictures were taken in August of 2010. It was our lunch during the Keys to the Kingdom tour.
  2. These pictures were taken at Artist Point in August of 2010.
  3. These pictures were taken in August of 2010.
  4. I believe that's technically a moose knuckle.
  5. After seeing a post for the Hoop Dee Doo Revue corn bread recipe, my family (three generations) decided that we should have a Hoop Dee Doo dinner night. Here's what we did... Food My Mom made the cornbread using the official recipe. At first she thought one pan wasn't enough for the 8 of us, but looks were deceiving and we had plenty. Mom also mixed up some butter with maple syrup. Yummy! Mom made mashed potatoes. Mom made a pot of brown beans using a family recipe (I can post it if anyone's interested, it's fairly sweet because it uses mincemeat). My sister made fried chicken (her husband w
  6. Here's a YouTube video from Walker Mobility about how their scooters disassemble. http://youtu.be/CghnkftCY-4 My Mom has a Victory that disassembles similarly (just minor differences). Some components are pretty heavy, but both my father (73) and I (40) have managed to disassemble/put in car/remove from car/reassemble by ourselves without assistance.
  7. I couldn't figure out how to embed a Picasa slideshow, so here's a link to the album. I would have weeded a bunch of these photos, but sometimes you guys (*cough* TCD *cough*) notice things that the rest of us easily overlook. It must have been announced that Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was shutting down which prompted me to take the photo. My next trip wasn't until NYE 1999/2000.
  8. I just realized this thread says 70s and 80s and my photo was from the 90s. I have another stash of photos from Feb 1997 (Minnie Moo, birthday cake castle) that I can post in another thread so as not to stay too far from the decades in this thread.
  9. Yes. You can barely tell from the poor scan, but the sign in the bottom right says "Splash Mountain Opening Fall 1992"
  10. I'm not entirely sure when these pictures were taken. The first two were likely ~1991, and the last two... I'd have to ask my parents. River Country!
  11. SoundHound thinks the song is from Country Mountain Christmas. I didn't have much luck searching under that album title, but did find this on iTunes which might be a winner. Listen to a preview of track #3. http://itunes.apple....mas/id157772484 Edit to add: hope my crazy Canadian link works for you. If not, search for "Bluegrass Christmas" or "Christmas Treasures Series & The Clarke Family"
  12. Here's my gem from Typhoon Lagoon! (We didn't come close to finishing it.)
  13. This is a bad scan of a print, taken in December of 1999 when we were at WDW for New Year's Eve 2000! It's the whole fam (except me since I was taking the picture!).
  14. Your powers of observation are, as usual, spot on! I'm more of a lurker 'round these parts. Though I keep telling myself I really should do a trip report from my April trip with my sister, even though we didn't stay at the Fort this time. It was very memorable and more fun than should be legal. I'm just worried about "outing" her online since she didn't tell her 5 year old twins she was going without them! That picture in my avatar was taken on that same trip. Blood on the Saddle cracks me up every time. If you need me, I'll be over here lurking.
  15. Too funny! My husband is a big Old Speckled Hen fan, and I too call it "chicken beer"! Great minds think alike.
  16. Re: Bread Machines. I've had very good luck with the recipes that came with a West Bend machine I got ages ago and which is long since gone and replaced with a Black & Decker. Grab any one of the PDF "manuals" here - http://www.westbend.com/catalog.cfm?dest=dir&linkid=173&linkon=subcategory They include a whole bunch of recipes. My favorites are cinnamon raisin (great toasted!), Italian herb, honey oatmeal, and I make the dinner buns quite often, too.
