Howdy folks here is my trip report for our SHORT trip to the Fort with the Mouse-ke-T@B. (I will relink the pics soon)
We generally stay at a Value resort over the 4th and just visit the Fiends cause I have to pick and choose my vacations, so the long weekend is all I can take.
However, I finally broke down and bought a factory awning for my T@B and really simplified my setup, so we thought we'd try it this year.
We decided to bring my youngest along. He was sans girlfriend, actually has a real job, and wanted to golf at the Disney courses. He also helped with setup and breakdown and was not at home while we were gone, so therefore the "mom and dad aren't home" party didn't happen :-)
Thursday, July 1st at 5pm, Rick and son pull up to my office and off we go!!
My little T@B just follows along like a champ :-)
We stopped in Tifton Georgia for the night at an EconoLodge. Cheap, right off the interstate.
Up an at em the next morning and we pull into property about 1:30 on July 2nd!!
As we pulled into the loop we were already chatting with other Fiends. We saw Lorna and Rich and Angie was behind us in her truck.
We expertly disconnected the camper and PUSHED her into the perfect spot!!! No backin in show from us!!!!!

Most of the threads have been about kid disabilities, just thought I would share my thoughts on some of the stuff my DH deals with when camping.
The Fort is just about the most accessible place I've ever been as far as the lay of the land. Sidewalks everywhere, everything very flat and plenty of asphalt in all the right places.
Our disability problems mainly have to do with mobility issues. We solve most of those with the ECV and we do things like I pull DHs socks off before he heads to the shower and we have finally found some hard soled slippers that he can get on and off easily.
We had to look long and hard to find a camping chair that would support his weight and still fold up small.
The only issue the Fort doesn't address is a companion shower area. I really wish they would add one. I can imagine there are many spouses that don't like using their RV shower (or don't have one in our case), but need to assist each other, and can't do that at the Fort.

I bring an electric blower

I said partial, but......
That's cause that's where I've stayed the most over the years. I've stayed at all levels of sites except preferred and the cabins.
For future trips, it's probably gonna be full or premium.

Hugh White State Park, Grenada, MS, Site #13
You need a loooooong electric cord, and a looooong water hose for this park, as every other site shares a water and electric.

Here are a few shots of my overnight stop on the way home from Disney at Eagle's Roost. Nice, easy pull throughs, great bath house facilities, great laundry. Their little store was a bit lacking though, they really only have souvenirs. Needed a roll of paper towels, and they don't carry any of that kind of stuff.

After setting up on Site 1707.
(Thanks Rog for the picture!!!) As you know, for some reason, we didn't take a SINGLE picture of the campsite this trip. Actually, our picture count was waaaaay on the slim side this trip.
We got our cart that we rented from friends.
We headed out to Magic Kingdom for dinner at Crystal Palace.
We also went to a few attractions that Kevin hadn't seen since they were redone (Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Laugh Floor) and we saw MSEP and the Nightastic Fireworks. Kevin loved Laugh Floor. He is one of those computer geeky kinds and the real-time animation was cool to him.
