  1. Well, I was on the phone with Disney for over an hour today. When they finally answered my call I asked why I couldn't link my vouchers with MDE. The CM I spoke with told me that linking vouchers were not possible due to the fact that it is not yet a a valid ticket hence why I am not allowed to make any fast pass + choices. I told him other people have been able to do this. He stated there has been numerous glitches in the Disney system and it's possible with all the different type of vouchers (e-ticket, plastic card, etc) there could have been a mistake. I guess I'm out of luck and see what happens when I redeem the vouchers. I'm sure linking the MB will be a whole other ordeal

    Ahhh.....   Frustrating.

  2. Hey Fiends,

Trying to decide, if including the water parks on our AP is worth it.  We have a 7 year old and a 2 year old, and we're planning 3 trips (Feb, May and Oct) to The Fort.  Both kids really like water and our 7 year old is proudly working on her swimming skills (still needs tons of supervision of course).

Thing is, our 7 year old is tall and over the 48" max that some of the kid areas list at the two water parks.  I'm curious how strict Disney is with that policy?  I know at The Fort, she can get away with using the kiddie slide...but she is also a very courteous child and we watch her closely (in other words, she doesn't cause any problems).  This is helpful, as I am able to have both kiddos in the same area (understandably, the baby only puts up with the big pool for so long...he'd rather walk and splash in the kiddie area).

Having said all of that, they both enjoy the pool at The Fort just fine... so I'm wondering if we should wait a few years, until they are both (or at least our oldest) really good/strong swimmers, before spending the extra money to go the water parks.

    Thoughts??

  3. The linking you have to do yourself.  At least that's what happened to me when I purchased a new AP for one of my daughters last month.  Not easy to do on the App.  Had to go to a special My Disney Experience place inside the MK to get the pass linked to the band.  I don't think you can link a voucher- you need the pass in hand.

    Thanks TCD

Just to make sure I understand... MK has the guest relations window there to the right of the entrance... we go there, turn in our voucher for the AP, then go inside the park to the MDE venue and link the pass to the bands?  Where is the venue...City Hall?

Edited to add: Thanks Jason, I'll check the voucher once I receive it!

  4. Has anyone purchased an AP through AAA before?  We are looking to do this, as it will save us about $70 on the three tickets we'll need.

Question I have is... AAA's website says they email you a voucher.  What do you do with that voucher?  I'm guessing Guest Relations (we usually go to the one in DT Disney).  Will the AP be linked to our bands (we received those in the mail a week or so ago)...?

  5. Underware :)

Oh my gosh...too funny Bob.  Thanks for the bumps Mo  ;)

    Are those the only choices?

Oh, and 68 degrees here is about the same as 68 degrees in most places.

    Thanks Lou...you're a very wise man  :P

If the sun is shining and low humidity, then yes it can be t-shirt weather. However, the humidity is higher in Orlando than it is even in Atlanta, so that means damp, so it actually feels a little cooler than that.

Once that sun drops out of the sky, then most definitely need a sweatshirt or fleece!

Thanks Carol...I didn't think about the humidity.

Sounds like layers will be the way to go....fingers crossed that we won't need the warm layers but, we'll come prepared!

  6. Wonder how many hits this will get  :)

What I'm curious about is, if you are CURRENTLY at The Fort, it looks like it topped out at 68 today.  It's been a while since Atlanta saw 68 so I'm curious... are you in jeans and a t-shirt or long sleeve?  Our trip isn't for a few weeks (first week in February) and I'm praying that the thermometer rises several degrees before we get there but... I'm trying to prepare.

So, is 68 at Disney t-shirt or long sleeve weather??
