Might just take a rode out, it'll be a nice break from the parks, even though we are not at all looking for anything else, it is a lot of fun to look. Maybe take a tour of the Yuengling plant too.

I am sorry I am only now reading this thread, I would send a couple of pins along too, but don't think they would get there in time now.
All of you folks are awesome, very nicely done.
-
Awesome, we will be there at the same time. Jason does rock!

Going the middle to end of January, and the lines app is showing super low crowd levels. I have AK planned for the 22 and it is showing 1/10 for the day! 2/10 for MK on the 21st.

Beer.
I like beer. Do you like beer? Everyone should like beer!
-
Yup, looks like that is true, the rate is now list as $169 for an advance purchase, it remains the same otherwise.

Sorry Clark, park's closed, moose out front should have told you.
Welcome aboard!

I got a set of these reels a few years ago and they work very well. I use them for my outdoor C9 bulbs, and I have a couple of bins that have holders to wrap lights around that I use for the Christmas tree lights. I never have tangled cords, it is just about the only thing organized around here
One trick to using these things is when you are packing the lights back up, make sure you wrap the lights female end first, that way the following year you can easily plug them in to check them and then just roll them out.

Really like the zero G type chairs, bit they are just not portable enough, and we don't have the space. I think we will have to check out those Strong Back chairs.

I finally got a chance to listen, and really enjoyed it. I just downloaded it to my Android phone, had no issues, and no need to sign up for anything.
I would like to hear a continuation about where remnants of the railroad can still be found, but for me, knowing little about it, but being very interested in general amusement park history, I found it very interesting and informative. I will certainly be doing some exploring of my own when I am there in January.

BAD beer can never be too cold...
Fixed that for you, no problem

And by flip phone he means two soup cans and a piece of kite string.
I heard he upgraded to a rotary?

In your climate I think I would just blow the lines out and pour some pink antifreeze down each drain to protect the traps.
That is what I do even here in Virginia. I have a very small system, so there is not much to it, and we camp year round, so it is nice to not have to drain anti freeze each time.
Like Carol, I have a disconnect switch on my battery, and even though it stays plugged ini shut down the battery so it does not over charge it. On long breaks and in winter I connect it to a maintainer.

Thanks for the info guys. Carol, that looks like it will work perfectly.

So much of this depends on the trailer itself, how heavy it is, what kind of shape it is in. Generally, I like to tow at a speed of about 60 MPH. I have had mine up to 75 with no problem. I am towing a small camper, but not a pop-up, so it is going to be a little different. MPG will drop, you are adding a lot of extra weight to your tow vehicle, that is always going to bring MPG down. It really depends on the vehicle as to how much that drop will be.
I would try and get it out, at least for a night locally, so that you can see how everything is supposed to work and make sure it does all work.

I am not talking about the fire with Chip and Dale, but about having a fire at your site. I know that there are strict guide lines on the type of fire pit you may use at the fort, could anyone point me to those?
Any suggestions on where these fire pits can be obtained?
Are they available for rent?

Try Fun Spot America, right near Universal. It is free admission, pay as you ride or get a wrist band, and everyone is raving about their little wooden coaster, White Lightening.
-
Nicely written, looking forward to hearing what you find on your visit.
-
Great info, thanks. Thinking about renting in January, think I will give them a call.
-
pretty much. Pre-order is $149. Must be ordered at least 3 days before use.
Yes, if you need it right away and don't order it ahead of time it will set you back $199.

It takes an army a week to set that thing up, no thanks. Looks really, really flimsy. I at first thought it was a home build, but it looks like it isn't:

If I went multiple times a year I probably wouldn't get it every time but we aren't able to go more than once every two years so for us it's totally worth it. I love that I don't have to worry about catching every moment. When my kids met with characters I'd ask the photographer to get candid interaction shots, so worth it to enjoy watching and not having to see everything through my camera lens. And then the ride photos, I don't know about you but we ride certain rides over and over again and have fun doing lots of silly shots on the rides with memory maker we get all of those. Also we make sure to take advantage of the photographers, getting pictures of my family together is an extra that I can't put a price on. Yeah I think it's worth it.
Cool, just what I wanted to know, that and the expiration of it. You guys are awesome, that's why I came here.
And, I wouldn't know anything about those silly photos ;-) -
I've been looking at the Memory Maker option that you can buy. I have read through the Disney website, but it really doesn't have a lot of information, and I was wondering if anyone has gotten this and felt that it was worth the expense.
We are leaning toward it, as we like on ride photos, and it would be nice to get character photos together and not have to worry about someone that can't operate my camera. Photo downloads without prints works well also, as that is the only way we really share photos these days (though I am working on a wall of on ride photos at home). Last year we got a Six Flags thumb drive which you could then get on ride photos loaded onto, at any park, we visited three, for .99 each, and we loved it.
I think we are close to sold, but I wanted to hear others' experience with it. Does it expire at a certain point? I know the photos go away after 45 days, but if you return year after year, do you have to buy the package again, or are you able to always download photos for free?

$8 does seem a touch high for what it is, but I'll be shelling it out x2 anyhow. The girls love it and they're only this little once.
And that is just it, they can charge more, even if it is not really worth more, because folks are still going to pay it. Can't say I blame them.
