You can find an animated POV of the coaster here:
The coaster is going to meander it's way down the tower, with some interesting elements, like outward banked turns near the top. There has been a lot of talk about this thing for a while, and this may be the first of several, if it gets off the ground.

That is the XL. I like it, takes only about five minutes to set up, and just as easy to take down. It is good for us as we are usually only in one spot for a couple of days.
It will protect the front from rain, bit it does not like wind. If you get both, forget it.

Get ready for construction "as far as the eye can see..."
Not only the crane and the hat, but the central plaza is boarded up all around, including the Walt and Mickey statue, construction on Main Street, the dinning room in the castle, the central section of AK, and the least noticeable, Maelstrom boarded up.

Nice write-up, thanks!

You should try to plan a trip there for Covered Bridge Festival in Oct. it is really packed but usually some open sites, we go every year. Last year I had to send Dick Knoebel a picture of our truck & Smart Car set up he was veryinpressed with it.
Saw Dick on Saturday, great guy, though he is starting to turn things over to his boys. He let his boys talk about the new roller coaster while he sat back and worked on a crossword puzzle.
Have done the Covered Bridge Festival many times, it just gets bigger each year. They have an enthusiast event (Phoenix Phall Phunfest) on the Saturday night of the festival that is one of the favorites.

To push this back onto topic, here is a look at our little camper at Knoebels this past September:
We squeezed right onto the end of the Pan Handle, for those that know the campground. I love the place, we go at least once a year, and of all the amusement parks I have visited this is in my top three (Dollywood and Busch Gardens Williamsburg are the other two). I will have to check out JD, driven past it plenty of times. Knoebels, I feel, is getting expensive for what you get, though it is convenient and feels like home to me.
Looking at maybe visiting in July :)

I still have a couple more, just a little horsing around:

We visited friends staying at the TT when we were there in January, and it was a nice looking campground. They were near the lake with a nice, private site. If we could camp more, and didn't live on the edge of one of their regions, I would seriously consider a membership.

Yes, I have a few more food photos, this time from Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. We booked a reservation for here to also include reserved seating for Fantasmic. With the booking you pay a fixed price for an appetizer, entree and desert.
I ordered the calamari, nothing really interesting there, but here is Becky's Seared Fennel-Crusted Tuna:
Both of us ordered the same entree, the Chicken Campanelle:
Finally, dessert was a medley of tasty treats that we shared:

The food was excellent, and more then we could finish (note the take home bag). We broke about even cost wise had we ordered everything separate, but it really paid for itself with the seats we got for Fantasmic:

Makes a lot of sense for Disney, reduces staff at the front desk in the long run. Some folks I am sure will miss the interaction, but they don't have to do it. I think this will go over very well.

I wish the print media would quit referring to the Department of Homeland Security as DHS. I read that and think the Republicans are trying to defund Disney's Hollywood Studios, the original DHS.
I have the same problem with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The SEC is a football conference.
Actually, the Department of Homeland Security is the original DHS. Disney did not change the name until 2008.
Besides, I'll still call it MGM.

Still going through photos, still finding photos of food. We did Via Napoli the second evening we were in EPCOT. The place was so loud I could not hear the waitress. Becky went with a salad, but I wanted pizza, so opted for the Quattro Formaggi Pizza:
It was good, but not what I expected from a white pizza. Very cheesy, but not flavor beyond that, such as the garlic flavor I expected.
I also went with a beer flight:
Birra Moretti, when you could replace it with a Bub and wouldn't know the difference, Birra Moretti's La Rossa, a little bit better then the last, and the seasonal, Birrifcio Italiano's VuDu, which was very tasty.
All ended very well as several of the waitresses sang Happy Birthday to Becky in Italian.

This place is without a doubt the best place I have ever had a meal. Shardi and I celebrated our 15th anniversary there. The first time that I was greeted at the door by name before introducing myself and the wait staff was always asking us by name what we needed. We will be dining there again Thursday of next week for Shardi's 39th Birthday, although it will be a few days late.
Kelly, you and Jason have to get there someday. Anyone that loves a BGE, will love the food at V&A.
It was Becky's 39th as well (don't think I'll get in trouble there :-D). We are already talking an anniversary dinner there, may 10th in a few years.
-
We almost booked it this trip for our anniversary, but Jason is afraid of pretty food. What happens if you don't want one of the courses?
Each course but the very first has at least two dishes to choose from, more for the main course. Also, you can replace any course with any other course on the vegetarian menu. Even though it is prefix, there are still tons of options.

Great bunch of pictures, but I think this is my favorite!!!!!
Thanks, one of mine too. It was a chilly morning a few weeks ago, we were on a cart headed to the marina, Becky was driving, so I was free to shoot a couple of photos.

Finally, for now, the dog run. The embankment from the rail road runs right through it:

Also a part of the Fort I never knew, the Fort Wilderness Railroad. Here is a bridge abutment:

Friends of ours had gotten a CampLite a couple of years ago. Initially they had a lot of problems with it, but they were quickly ironed out and once that was done they loved their little trailer. They only traded it in when they decided to go full time and getting a class A was a better option for them. We had dinner with them while in Florida and they said while they need the space, they miss the ease and convenience of the small trailer.
