Retired and Happy (Ken) 101
Would someone tell me once more where the instructions for uploading from Photobucket are? I've done it, but not in a LONG time.
Lou... 3,118
Would someone tell me once more where the instructions for uploading from Photobucket are? If, and I don't think they are, they aren't on here, they probably should be.I'm sure Mo will remedy that.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Mmmm... Mo don't do Photobucket. I use Flickr, so it's going to be a little different. You need to get the IMG code for the image from Photobucket (on my Mac I right click and do "copy image location") Then in your post here click the little green picture icon in the menu bar above where you're typing. The "image properties" box will come up. Enter the image location in the URL box and click OK. I also found this info... Posted by mouseketab.....Carol on 29 January 2013 - 03:46 PM in Fort Fiends Community BoardYou actually CAN post photos from your phone to here if you get the Photobucket app. If I have a photo I want here instantly I use my phone. The picture uploads from my phone to photobucket automatically, then I go to the photobucket app, copy the img link and paste here in FF.
Retired and Happy (Ken) 101
Thanks, Lou, for the separately transmitted instructions. Turns out I had the process except for the last step. When it said COPIED, I didn't realize where it was copied TO, and all I had to do was paste it in. Mo, yours are similar instructions after the photo is uploaded. See PETS for our latest addition.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Sharing these instructions for others using Photobucket (thanks Lou) This is how I do it using a laptop, tablet, or PCwith WindowsCreate an account.Once created, click the "Upload" boxClick "choose photos and videos" which takes you to the computer directoriesFind and select the photo or photos to upload. Uploading should start.Once uploaded, click "Library" along the top, then "view library". Thephoto will be there.Hover over the photo you want to paste into the post. A gear icon willappear. Click the gear, then "get links".Click the box under "IMG codes"The box should turn yellow depending on what version of Windows is beingused. If it doesn't, right click and select copy.Paste the link into the post.

Helmsey......Todd 134
I'll add one thing...If you are looking at the pictures individually on Photobucket this menu will be on the right of the screen: you can click the "IMG" code that I highlighted and it will copy it to your clipboard on your PC. CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
I always use Photobucket's "Direct" code. Otherwise, you may be posting a link that allows anyone to see everything in your Photobucket account.
Lou... 3,118
I always use Photobucket's "Direct" code. Otherwise, you may be posting a link that allows anyone to see everything in your Photobucket account. The only thing I use Photobucket for is what I post on FF.net, so it's not an issue, but Gwen makes a good point. If you use it for other photos, be warned.
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
Good to know, thanks Gwen. If and when someone gets around to putting an Info page together for this, they should make sure to include this info.
