ceemike...Mike & Judy 50
I'm trying to post some pics but when I try to attach them to the post the total size that I'm allowed to post keeps getting smaller. It's now down to about 125 KB. What am I doing wrong?
Beckers 1,136
I use photobucket to upload.
Katman1356...Jason 1,140
Most people upload to a photo sharing site such as photobucket and the copy the IMG link and paste it here. Once you hit post it will display your picture.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
If you use PB's IMG link, you are giving everyone access to all your PB photos. If you use the PB direct link, they will only see that one photo. EDITED to say that if you don't change your PB privacy settings this could happen.
Discamper 394
Just start a PB account that you what to share

If you want to restrict usage and get to the privacy settings Jason mentioned, click on your user name located at the top right of the page. Then click on "settings", then "privacy" along the top of that page, then deselect "Allow others to copy my photos & videos".
AuburnJen 772
Just an admin note. If you are going to post pictures that are not yours and come from another site, please give the link of where you got the picture. Not only is it courtesy, it is your legal responsibility. This also goes for pictures taken from this site as well and posted somewhere else. If it is not yours, give the person credit for who's picture it is. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming. BradyBzLyn...Mo
Beckers 1,136
Jen, sometimes I screen shot stuff from Instagram, if it shows the users name, is that enough or does more need to be done?
BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
This thread reminds me that some slacker still hasn't put an Info page together for this. Geez Jen, you really ought to look into getting some better help around this place.

AuburnJen 772
Jen, sometimes I screen shot stuff from Instagram, if it shows the users name, is that enough or does more need to be done?Is there a way you can get a web page address or are you doing this from your phone? If you can just mention something underneath that it came from Instagram, that should be fine if you don't have an actual link. I just don't want people getting in trouble for posting other people's work without permission. If you have permission, you can sayReposted with permission. If you don't have permission, then that burden then is going to have to lie on you. Just use your common sense and be responsible. Does anyone know if posting links to pics on a Onedrive account or a Dropbox account will work like links from a PB account?
