It's best to pay cash (the Dave Ramsey in me), but if you must finance explore all options. Local bank, credit union, the dealership or even Good Sam Club. Know what you can get elsewhere and the dealership can't prey on you while emotions are high. Take your time and make a decision based on facts, not emotion when the salesman says it Amy not,be here tomorrow.

Remember, if an RV salespersons lips are moving, untruths are probably coming out....

Do not let the dealer know how you are financing. Make the deal for the camper, once you have the price, than make a deal on your trade if you are going that route, than make a deal on the financing, either through them which they try and make up the difference in price by giving you a higher rate as Memphis says, or through your own bank.

If they know you are financing through them or have a trade in, they are going to lower the price of the camper and make it up on the other two or one end. They are three seperate deals and the dealer should be unaware of what you are doing.

Best Regards,

Norm
