jriae2000 1
I love the view from the Fort but I remember someone saying that another resort had a great view also. Does anyone remember the name of the resort? Thanks in advance.

wdwbound 0
Can you still go to the top of the Contemporary??? they had the music piped outside the walkway, and I remember that they once tried to not let people go through the restaurant but then it continued again... THAT was a good view too!!Nancy

BradyBzLyn...Mo 2,023
You can only go to the observation deck at the top of the Poly now if you have dinner up at the Calif. Grill. Unless something has changed recently (since last year) even if you eat there earlier than the fireworks, if you save your receipt you're welcome to come back later to view them.IIRC they do pipe the music out there. It's a really cool perspective and we try and do it once per trip. Grill, and then I go to the observation deck on the Poly? How does one get to the Poly observation deck?TCDp.s.- if you want to see something interesting, there is a big observation deck on top of the Bay Lake Tower building. Supposedly, it is only open to DVC members staying at BLT. I will observe that restriction as soon as the Fort stops locals from using the pool. Until then, it isn't too hard to get up there for a look see.TCD
