Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Holidays......ouchIndeed!And, this document shows the intelligence of the Fort management. Why is there a separate category for New Year's Day?So they can charge a dollar more for a partial site, and a dollar less for a premium site? What the Fort is that all about? And do people really pay those rack rates for cabins during the holidays?Wow!TCD

Tri-Circle-D 2,059
Why does one go down and the other go up in price on New Years?Come on, Lou.You know the Fort is run by guys (and gals) with MBA's and stuff.Stop asking stupid questions.TCD
mouseketab.....Carol 1,261
Well the main reason New Year's day is a separate category is because it's on a Sunday in 2012, so Jan 2nd is the actual holiday. Normally, the holiday is on Jan 1st, and folks head home that day, and the place is empty on the 1st.In 2012, folks are on "holiday" on the 1st and will head home on the 2nd, so they want to get every dollar they can!!!
