All the times we were at Disney have been super crowded and I was not able to get a picture of the inside. Your pictures and report have brightened a very cold and snowy day for us here in KY. For people who have gotten lost trying to find the right Disney exit, the right Resort exit, six out of the seven times we have visited, the buses are magical to me. The seventh time we borrowed a GPS and drove right to the resort with no problems. There was almost no seventh trip, because I was tired of being yelled at to find the right exit to get there. :rofl2: We have very seldom had to wait too long to get a bus, mostly after the fireworks show have been the worst. TCD thanks for the trip report. I enjoyed all your pictures especially the ones of POR. I have not ventured back to the Alligator Bayou section before, but I plan to on our next visit. (hopefully next year) POR is part of the draw for us to come to Disney, its so nice to pull in the parking lot (from our 16 hour drive) and leave the car, and let Disney take us to where we need to be. Of course I have to agree with you about the cramming so many people on the buses, do not like that at all. We also enjoy all the beautiful landscaping and walking trails, and a nice food court. Nice trip report. I used to camp with my parents at Myrtle beach every year, way too many moons ago. I think it was Pirate land that we went to.

TCD great pictures! All of my pictures from the Downtown Disney boat seem to have those dark clouds in them too. Just about everytime we rode the boat a storm came in. The boat ride is a nice plus to POR. We also rode it when it was dark and that was pretty cool as well.

I didn't know there was a Deliberate Mickey Judge, but I will accept the ruling, and I will add another picture to the case file. Would we call this an Undeliberate Hidden Mickey?::rofl2: PS : I did not make this Mickey, just happened to see it when I sat down at the Dole Whip place.

I am really enjoying your trip report TCD, bringing back good memories from our trips to POR. We have stayed in each of the Mansions that you have mentioned in your report. They do remind me of Gone With the Wind, I really enjoyed staying in them. Everyone likes different things, thats what makes the world go round and in this case Disney wealthy : ) ! I had a couple of pictures from our trip that were cool. I hope its okay to add them here. If not I will delete, I don't want to hijack your report. Thank you one and all for the very warm Welcome! You all seem to be a wonderful group of people, glad that I am here. Just wanted to add, (sorry for the hijack) that I used to camp with my parents, started out tent camping, then after I got married they moved on to an RV. My husband and I camped with them at Disney one year, but I am not sure where we stayed. Camping is not my husband's favorite thing to do, but I have always enjoyed it. Therefore I enjoy reading about everyones adventures here on Fort Fiends Forum. Now back to the regular programming.:heart:

TCD you talked me into joining and making a first post. I followed all of you from the other site, took a while to find you, but glad I did. Loving all the trip reports. I don't camp and have not been to the Fort, but looks like a wonderful place. Port Orleans Riverside is where we have stayed the last four visits, we love it there. Looking forward to your trip report . It has been a year since we were last there. Next time we are at disney I would like to go over to the Fort and look around, can anyone go there and just visit?
