:partythree: Good job!!

Yep, I can understand not liking bridges if they are not very sturdy.

TCD I am glad you enjoyed the photos. I agree it is rather cool that the bridge was first built in 1895, I find it very interesting. It must have took them a long time to build it with the tools that were available to them in that time period. I will update with more photos next year.

Yes it is the same here with special events,it is mostly events that are for charity. I think they had the Komen Relay for life there as well. They lined the whole bridge with the memorial luminaries. I would not be surprised if they also install an elevator at some point.

Thanks everybody, I am glad you enjoyed the pictures. I had been looking forward to walking across the bridge ever since they started renovations a couple of years ago. I enjoy being around boats and water, (we also own a boat) so it was a real treat to be there to enjoy the view and a few boats and barges going under it. We saw several people sitting on the benches reading the daily news paper and enjoying the day. Well actually it was only a few hours trip, Hi everyone, I debated on weather or not to post this, since it may not be all that interesting, but here goes anyway. Excellent travel report, thanks for sharing your family's adventures. Very enjoyable reading. -
I know I am mostly a lurker and don't post often, but I just wanted to say that I too miss Stef's witty posts and all the cute pictures of Mason. Everyone here seems very caring and nice, people whom I would actually someday wish to meet, and Stef and Trevor are at the top of the list. I hope she comes back, I would love to read her TR.

I am from KY and had not heard of Big Bone Lick State Park, since I am more south of the park. But had to look it up out of curiosity, here is another site with information http://www.statepark..._bone_lick.html Most of the state parks I have visited here in KY are very nice parks. -
Your photos are gorgeous!! We also had beautiful fall color here in KY this year. Thanks for sharing your photos.
