Hubby buys diesel in another town on his way to work all he gotta do is jump off 83 to save a little. He is also working overtime whenever he can so that when we go on trips we don't have to pinch the wallet. Well we also started the meal planners for the week which helps because before we would go to the store and buy $100.00 worth of junk and have nothing to make a full meal!

For first time fort guests please know that it is NOT Gators in the bushes next to the comfort stations making noise at night!! It's them dillows and they will not hurt you!!! (trust me I felt really stupid when I realized that I was scared for no reason)!

Okay okay sorry the mud wrestling didnt happen but I did get 2 pics so far, walked around a bit and now I am boiling eggs for the kids to dye!! Then off to byods bear to check the place out before they close it for good :wiz:

Most of the time I bring my croc pot for camping trips but this time I didn't.. Hubby was shocked to not see it in the camper when we got here! I hope he will live :rofl2:

I fry bacon in a pan and sump grease and all in the croc pot, I then layer cleaned greens with cajun season and black pepper until I get clost to the top and place a hamhock in the center and season that as well! I then put 1 full box of chicken broth in the croc pot and top off with hot water and let cook on low for about 8-9 hours stirring every once and a while or until the meat looks like its gonna fall off the bone, when that happens I take the hamhock out and seperate the meat from everything else and just put the meat back in the crock pot and let that simmer for another hour.

got that right they are high and this is the time we went in 2007 and 2008!! crazy prices!

I use the raid camp fogger (even at home 40 miles east of FW). Sometimes I have to use it more than once, but it works great along with wearing skeeter spray. Thanks im gonna go buy a dozen!! LOL
