I hear ya there!! My neighbors think were swimming in cash cause of all the trips we take (not all disney) and when they find out how much cheaper it is to do it our way (camping) they look like I hitem with a frying pan in the face!!

This topic has got me all giddy!! Hubby can retire in 2 years but wants to stay on the job for another 10 years since he got that cupcake promotion. Plus I am sure the kids are gonna want cars and what not so he is going to have to continue the daily grind!! LOL But our plan is to go part time when he does retire and just keep a small home in South Carolina (myrtle beach area) so the kids have a place to come home to for the holidays! We figure if we buy the house 3 years before he retires and we go there for holidays.. the transition would be a lot easier for them. I cannot wait there is so m

I had a steak last Sunday and it was gooooood!! Don't laugh but we did not have a grill so I took my turkey roasting pan and filled it with charcoal and put our camping grill rack for the fire ring over the top and grilled those suckers to perfection!! LOL you should of saw the look on hubbys face when he came home and saw a GRILLED steak for the race!! well after some jokes he decided to go and look for a grill.. long story short we bought everything but the damn grill until today!! We got the grill.. not the one I wanted of course with the smoker (oh no) we got the one with the LED blue ligh

Andrue is working hard on this car.. he ditched the paint idea and did a cut and paste using the box.. not a bad idea I gotta give it to him!!

Yesterday was fun watching hubby use the dremel tool to try and make the derby car!! By the time he was done he was covered head to toe in dust and looked like and old man but did a good job for a first timer! Today Andrue so far put 1 coat of paint on the car but we got a ways to go!! Here is what it looks like so far

Oh I have heard horror stories about lot 10!!! We will never camp there! We always camp in lot 2 on the end of course :rofl2: To be honest I was not bad at all and most of the time everyone was sober.. except for the night AFTER the race! A lot of noise coming from the parking area next to lot 2!! Kind of funny at times to watch people trying to figure out how to use the porta potty in the dark and the millions of OMG'S being yelled from it!! :rofl2:
