Okay we are one of the ones that probly over do it with the gadgets. We have 3 tvs... 4 soon! a Wii, playstation3, dvd vcr combo, 3 dsi's with games and more bs we really don't need cause were never in there unless its raining or were sleeping!! LOL Now granted we still have books, games and other non electric entertainment too!!

The last time we were there was in 2008. Since then we have been hitting up nascar races. Granted we would love to go this year but hubby is about to be promoted and his shift is going to change so any plans are on hold for the moment! :tool: When we do go it has to be for 14 nights or more. I do not like to take small trips there being that its a 16 hour drive.

I love fishing and have been fishing since I could hold the pole. I taught my lil ones to fish and they like it so much that sometimes I have to tell small lies about not having the fishing poles with us on that trip. My oldest Rissa and hubby would not go near the worms for a while until I suggested that they wear latex gloves, now they are fine. It was quite funny watching hubby try to put a worm on the hook with various tools!! One of my favorite childhood poems Fishy fishy in the brook daddy caught him with a hook mommy fried him in a pan and baby ate him like a man!!

With just being at a regular campground and seeing some of the stuff that goes on I don't think I will let any of my lil ones go to the pool alone until they are 22! LOL This past summer I seen people drop their kids off and they didnt look over the age of 10! I have even seen parents put their small children in the pool with a floaty and walk away and get their tan. Oh and lets not mention the mild pictures of kitties going on with some of the teenagers. Darryl and I feel that going to the pool is a family thing, we play games and have races and have a great time!!

Sounds like fun. We are going to Gettysburg from the 17th till the 22nd but we will be staying in the cabins being that our camper is surrounded by snow that we have no intention on getting rid of at this point plus we have to have some joints replaced on the excursion before we tow again.

OMG there is a train! WOW that is sad.. 4 times and I never knew it! Guess I need to open my eyes and ears a little more often. To be honest by the time we get there everyone is so tired they just pass out!! LOL
