  1. Why not get a package with different sizes. Then you will be prepared for any type
  2. Now I want Mexican food. Wait I always want Mexican food
  3. Try this Tortilla Soup 1 can chicken broth 1 can Del Monte petite cut tomatoes with zest jalepenas 1 small can tomato sauce 1 can black beans (rinsed) 1 can Green Giant niblets ( the vacuum packed ) 1 whole chicken breast cooked and cubed chili powder, salt and pepper to taste Throw it all in the crock pot on low Serve with shredded Mexican blend or Fiesta blend cheese and tortilla chips. We like Tostitos Scoops To make a larger batch just double everything.
  4. Yup, that's exactly why we love RVing. You feel like you know your neighbors from day one :moon:
  5. That's all I need. Just to get out of here for the coldest part of the Winter then face the rest of it :argh: Have you checked out SMART. Our neighbors are retired Navy and we travel with them and the rest of the Great Lakes chapter. We are their token civilians. They are a wonderful group :moon: We are currently living in a prime snowbird community and talking to them, they ussualy leave when the first snow of the season falls and return back "home" in April. Being militray I have never found a place to call home. So needing a place to plant roots is not a concern. Plus Im used to living mi
  6. Hoverrounds to the left of me, strollers to the right. Here I am stuck in the middle again :moon:
  7. That's all I need. Just to get out of here for the coldest part of the Winter then face the rest of it :D
  8. That's how Mike feels too. He would like to Winter in Florida and Summer in Michigan
  9. I am hoping we will be in couple more years. The biggest problem is Mike loves what he does for a living. I think I have him talked into taking the month of February next year
  10. That sounds great I love baked potatoes, definitely something I will try
  11. We do tacos, beef and chicken make and freeze the meat before and then put it in the crock pot to thaw. I also make enchiladas ahead of time and after they are cooked I portion them out into microwave containers freeze and voila dinner is served. Plus the usual hot dogs, hamburgers and the stuff for BLT's I have an easy tortilla soup that only takes minutes to throw together too :rofl2: Boy looking at what I like to eat you would never guess I am a French- Irish girl would you :siren:
  12. I don't boil or grill mine. I clean it and out it in ziplock bags and pop it in the microwave. It comes out crisp and tasty without being waterlogged.
  13. This is awesome! I am listening to the Electrical Light Parade :rofl2:
  14. Dunno yet. It's a new club (less than 3 years.. I think) and this could very well be our first Rally. We've only been members for a few months. Not to mention, I had to start my foray into rally planning with FW... I am very very scared! We travel with a retired military group called SMART. We are there token civilians anyway it is a pretty large group and we have a lot of fun. I'm sure when you get all the kinks worked out you will have a blast. But I also know the planning sucks.
  15. Cool :rofl2: I bet it is a lot of fun :rofl2:
  16. What is your group and when is the rally?
  17. Trust me I wanted Rhonda but the number we are talking about (anything over 10 sites) requires us to go through disney itself. I had Rhonda check into it. Once the contract is signed we get pushed to an event coordinator so I'm hoping we can tweak things there. I would think for any group over 10 (probably closer to 25) RV's Disney might change a loop's designation from non-pet to pet...but I guess we'll just have to see! Well good luck then. Hope you get everything you need
  18. Poor me I can only eat Filet Mignon. I had gastric by-pass surgery and have to have a very tender steak cut into small small pieces. But when I do get it I like it medium with a small salad dressing on the side
  19. She doesn't know what she is talking about :) Which isn't surprising. Talk to Rhonda she knows everything
  20. How many people does it take to finish a kitchen sink
  21. UH.....maybe Bruce could throw cold water on himself, tan naked and quit shaving! :rofl2: :jumpforjoy OMG talk about a wienie roast :jumpforjoy
  22. I love our gas class A. I have more inside storage than I know what to do with. I also love the floor plan. Mike wants a diesel and keeps dragging out to look at them, but we haven't found one that we would be willing to give our Windsport up for.
  23. My husband would probably dump me off at one and not pick me up if I asked to go to a quilt shop while at WDW. Nor would my kids forgive me! :rofl2: Thank god my kids are grown up. My daughter is worse than I am when it comes to fabric, I am the one who has to drag her out of the stores :rofl2: Our kids are still small and each of us has a "personal" bin for the trailer... guess whose is the heaviest. Yep, never know which book or crafting project you might need.... and never use! :rofl2: But it never hurts to have them. My husband draws the line on me bringing my sewing machine on vacat
