  2. Are the tadpoles better tasting if they are alive??? Naw, Some potions require live tad poles. What were you thinking?? :rofl2: That's right along with eye of newt, never leave home without it :rofl2:
  3. I guess at this point we need to figure out who would be interested in doing this. Then decide on a campground and a time. I don't have a problem with meeting in any of the three States, I don't know very many campgrounds in Southern Michigan and have only camped at Cedar Point in Ohio. Have no clue what there is for camping in Indiana. I do think it would be a great opportunity for some of Northern folk to meet :bravo:
  4. I feel like I can call Indiana my home too. We spend a lot of time there. Elkhart area the most but also South Bend, Fort Wayne, Goshen, and a little town west of Indianapolis that I can't remember the name of right now. Basically anywhere in Indiana that either sells trailers or trailer parts we've been there. :parrot: I have never camped there yet so maybe you have some ideas?
  5. I'm in TX now but grew up in Lancaster, OH... east of Campingmommy. My family is still all there. Then I think you should join us. Once a mid-westerner always a mid-westerner :parrot:
  6. Ya but if we invited Wisconsin we probably couldn't get a forum to decide on where to meet :rofl2: :rofl2: Seriously though Wisconsin and Illinois, you people are close enough that we should be able to find someplace that wouldn't be a hardship for a bunch of us to get to. Especially if we could find a place in northern Indiana
  7. Cedar Point is nice and would be great for those of you who have kids at home yet.I usually camp in Northern Michigan, Florida or South Carolina and am not really familiar with what else is in our area. Hopefully we have some other Fiends who have more experience with what is in our area. :parrot:
  8. I thought if we could find a campground centrally located we could try for something this Spring or Summer. Any ideas? :parrot:
  9. I live in Bay City, Michigan and was wondering who else was in the tr-state area. Thought maybe we could plan a meet and greet :parrot: Any Canadian Fiends we want you too
  10. It's a tough choice some days. Nook or laptop. the laptop usually wins
  11. Thanks. I love them all. Little Dex goes to the vet tomorrow. He will be leaving some jewelry behind
  12. I recently finished The Red Queen and The White Queen by Philippa Gregory. And The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. The Anne of Green Gables series was my Summer reading. I like lots of different types of books. It all depends on my mood
  13. I read a lot of "junk" too, recently most everything Sherryl Woods has written
  14. I know I have found with the Nook I try authors that I would never come across before. I am a pretty eclectic reader, so I just love that you can download a sample before you buy. :soapbox:
  15. I also have "The Kingdom Keepers" series if anyone once me to do a Lend Me. There are a cute light read.
  16. Right now I reading "A Dangerous Fortune" by Ken Follet. Interesting side not, he has donated all of his original manuscripts to Saginaw Valley State University. This is the school my daughter went to. Good stories, I highly recommend him.
  17. You would get along very well with my husband, he likes a good PEEP now and then too. Hmm that could be taken in a whole other direction :kickinass:
  18. You are absolutely right Deb, and when it's kids you just up the ante.
  19. This is Pepper Ann and Riley Nada, her name came about because when I asked my husband his answer was "Not another damn animal" She was supposed to my last chihuahua That lasted six months and then Harley came along. He is Nada's half brother And then Dex came. His name is a little play on 10 he was our tenth chihuahua, but calling Dix just didn't sound right :rofl2: Sorry about the flash spots. I am not a very good photographer :rofl2:
  20. I was in a slightly different situation. When my son was 11 he had a grand mal seizure in our backyard swimming pool. There is nothing worse than holding your baby above water while you wait for EMS. He was diagnosed with Absence Seizure Disorder. He would just blank out and be zombie-like. Needless to say he never went anywhere without an adult. Thankfully this type of disorder is controlled with medication and also something that they outgrow. I did however become an overprotective mother and his younger sister made herself his self-appointed guardian. What I am trying to say is you never k
